RaisedByWolvesParticipant
My husband put on his State cap. Things should turn around now.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantLove me some Abu.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantUh oh. Eight isn’t enough buffer.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantI remember back when I was excited about an 8 point lead. Now it’s sickening.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantVictory was ours! 72-59.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantLady Pack leading #10 Duke 50-44 with 5:44 left. ESPN2.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantWait. Did we win two conference games in a row??!
RaisedByWolvesParticipantHe’s making me hungry talking about the pans of biscuits those massive hands could pick up.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantHmm. Link didn’t show up. What do I have to do to post a link?
RaisedByWolvesParticipantRaisedByWolvesParticipantGo Steelers!
Watching pregame now. How can anyone not like Hines Ward?
RaisedByWolvesParticipant“That old joke about athletes taking basket-weaving classes would be a step up from this.” -Brian Williams on NBC Nightly News
RaisedByWolvesParticipantIf I were retired from my current career, I would totally apply for that job.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantI feel like I’ve been watching this game for about 8 hours, and we still have the bulk of the 4th quarter to go. Maybe the absence of anxiety and/or disappointment makes the time go by more slowly.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantTrea was #13, to the Padres.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantI don’t buy his argument about idiographic versus nomothetic research. It depends on what level you’re observing. He seems to be saying that Jay Smith’s quest to get to the bottom of this is misplaced because it’s an N of 1 – one scandal – and therefore can’t demonstrate a pattern. I would argue that within the scandal, there’s plenty of space to look for patterns. We’re not talking about one athlete who was steered to a fake class; we’re talking about hundreds. That’s a pattern.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantI only knew one of the 90’s songs (“Come as you Are”), at least by name. Out of curiosity I checked to see if the music of the 90’s of any other recent century was more to my liking. Turns out the 90’s are kind of dull in each of the last 4 centuries. A notable exception is Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” which debuted in 1791. I have been known to listen to the overture over and over. It maketh me happy.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantWe have a two-game winning streak!
RaisedByWolvesParticipantThere appear to be six Clemson fans at the game, and one State fan. No, wait! Twelve Clemson fans.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantPack up 5-1 top of the 8th.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantI would like to feel triumphant sometime, instead of this feeling of crumpled relief. But I’ll take it.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantI like 9-2 better than 9-4.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantOh, definitely. Our losing streak is pitiable.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantGreat inning! It seems like the commentators are pulling for State.
RaisedByWolvesParticipantIf someone made a Being-John_Malkovich-esque movie about BJD’s mind, I’d go see it.
