Do you think coaches can get smarter, hire assistants that can make a difference, and recruit better once they have been at a school for 4-5 years. Or are they stuck in their own mud, so to speak. Would be interesting to see the time trends of coaches over 20 years.

This is a serious loss in many respects. MAjor blow to coaches, players, fans. Gott isn’t ready for big league coaching. K had the game plan. We just werent prepared. The weakness of our O and D is glaring against a good motivated team. My guess is we go down quickly in the tourney.
Great work. I assume a teams rating is based on its full season. What about trends and standard deviations. That is, a Jeckle and Hyde team could have a bimodal rating and perhaps play at the second mode.
Pls send to Gott. It is the difference between O and D that determines success. Our D can be pitiful, mainly because it is a lot of hard work and G can’t seem to get it from our guys on a consistent basis.

If Clemson had less than 1,000 fouls called them, I am not sure how. Seemed we were getting could 3 times before they called one.

Give these coaches pay raises and resources. How many ACC championships have we won in the past few decades? Not many.
Duke built their athletics by building champion programs in minor sports.

You could see how this was going to develop I the first 5 min. Absolutely nothing has changed.
