Is there some particular reason we can’t throw over the middle on some qshort drop backs. All our pass plays develop the same
Brisset never throw quickly. He has to hold it for 3-5 seconds
We’re back to running vanilla pass plays that the defense knows our routes better than us. Brissett not looking good.
We can start a game but once they figure us out, we lose to better or even equal teams.
I don’t understand why we let any apparel company design our uniforms. We need input and the final say on all uniforms. What disasters Addidas has produced. Remember the horizontal stripe across the hips last season during the ncaas. Or the Walmart-looking “destiny” pajama tops that we and every other Addidas team wore in the tournament.

Quite a broad conclusion, BDJ.
I think DD is a good head coach in many respects and the recruiting is better than anything we have seen since the early days of Amato.
However, our coordinators and perhaps other coaches are mediocre at best. We are recruiting at about the mid level of the ACC. Do you guys really think our coaches are going to get us much past an average of about 3.5 ACC wins a year. Based on what I have seen, the schemes and calls, game adjustments, etc, I don’t expect much more than mediocrity without a serious upgrade in coordinators to begin with.
If DD could get to where we win 4, occasionally 5, and rarely 6 or more ACC wins a year, he would be up there with Sheridan and HOLTZ. I just think this staff isn’t up to the task.
The parts of the game I saw seemed to indicate Duke was the ACC ref favorite.
What was wrong with the last play? ThAt last block was on the shoulder from my perspective.

So, by most of the logic above, one should never build a new stadium/arena due to all the great memories of us old farts.

I think it is a bad decision that we will have to live with forever. Old out of date ugly building. Lipstick on a pig. The coaches that have to play in that antiquated place were not happy about the decision. You just can’t do much with narrow walkways and poor dimensions.
Hey, I had a few good years in riddick, but does that justify holding back future football programs from being competitive.

Giga nailed it. Coaches didn’t do well. Don’t expect much difference in future. However, compared to our recent past, this is heaven to most of you guys.

Why did he think we could pass it around the outside and beat the zone. Why not penetrate and see what happens. Way too over coached with the wrong strategy. Negative again
