So, how does one go forward from this point on as a college athletics fan? What’s the point?
This is where I find myself. NCAA won’t care, because I am not a cable subscriber, nor a donor, nor a season ticket holder. I just watch from afar, occasionally taking in a Wolfpack game on local broadcast (ACC Network! YEAH) or going to a Robert Morris game.
But if this is what we think it is, and UNX gets off scott free for the worst cheating ever documented, then I am just done.
From now on I’ll get all my sports fixes from the Pros, where there is at least a facade of a level playing field.
It gives me great pain to say that, because I grew up around the Triangle and the ACC is in my blood.
I still vividly recall Rob Morris being absolutely robbed a few years back as a 15-seed against our opponent tomorrow night.
That game was a travesty that got national headlines.
But they got an apology letter from the NCAA, so that made up for it I’m sure…
But I ain’t forgot…

Saw Davidson last weekend at Duquesne. Good googly moogly can those guys hit 3s. I bet they hit 22 for the game. No joke they had 12 at halftime.
Wonder if State’s still in trouble according to media trolls?
They might get a bid as a play-in 16 seed.

I can say without question, that of all the road venues that I’ve attended, I’ve never felt more welcomed, nor more a sense of “these people are just like us” than at the University of Louisville.
I can see that… On the UK message boards they’ve said crap like “not a rivalry”, “U of Little Brother”, etc.
That seems so familiar to me somehow…
I bet K focuses on shutting down Lacey. He’ll adopt the same attitude towards Cat that we seem to have for JO which is slow down but not stop him entirely. He’ll put Winslow on TL and tell him to play like it’s a football game.

I wouldn’t put it out of the realm of possibility for Florida State to give UVa a game tomorrow.
UVa may win it again this year, but they are gonna have to grind a bit more this year than last.
Can anyone tell me if they are good at that?

On another other note, I had no idea how many people I knew growing up in NC were from the Pittsburgh area originally. There is kind of a PA-to-NC pipeline going on there. Well, a Northeast-to-NC at any rate (looking at you NY, NJ, and Mass)
