Can’t see where Coach Gottfried and staff is doing any better than Sendek & Company….and this in no way is intended to show any support for Herb Sendek. Just sayin!
Begs the question …….Why in the hell was Gottfried’s contract extended? Is the goal just to make to the post season (won’t happen this year)? Didn’t even bother watching the Cheats game. Probably won’t bother with the remainder of the season……..and nothing much to look forward to next year. Can’t see how this coaching staff is doing any better than the Sendek years. Given the school’s basketball heritage we should be contending for the conference championship every year. Instead we’re lucky to average .500 in the ACC. Disappointing.
In 1980 a coach came to State with an index card in his pocket and a passion. Three years later we celebrated a national championship. When was the last time our fan base saw any coach in any sport demonstrate any kind of passion like that? Are we supposed to be content with middle of the pack (no pun intended) records and getting to a bowl game or NCAA dance? Dr Yow?

Hated to see the season end like everyone here. But the Pack exceeded expectations in FB and BB to everyones delight. Beat our rivals, won our bowl game and made it to the SS. Next year is the most Pack fans have had to look forward to in a long time. Go Pack!!
Another game we are out-coached. Agree we have a thin bench, but you really have to question the coaching leadership. The only game we we ready to play was Florida State. Why can’t a team that well prepared show up every week? Maybe Dave and company need a trip to the woodshed!!
