pakfanistanParticipantpakfanistanParticipant
For all the bluster State fans spew about being the best fans the boast rings hollow until it is evidenced by fundraising.
We’re caught in a catch-22 of sorts at the moment. People aren’t going to be willing to pony up unless they feel like they’re not just throwing their money away, and with our previous brain trust, that’s what they would have been doing. I think once results improve, we’ll see an increase in fundraising. That also assumes we stop scheduling a baker’s dozen of cupcakes in football.
pakfanistanParticipant07/11/2014 at 4:58 PM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53585pakfanistanParticipantUpdate, my illegal immigrant friend has proposed, “La misma mierda de todos los dias.”
pakfanistanParticipantSerious question.
How’s 2015 class coming along? Looks pretty bleak. Bleak recruiting isn’t good when your core paradigm is to get the best players and win with sheer talent.
A little less than 1/3rd of the top 100 (and 5 of the top 30) has committed anywhere. Twelve of those commitments are to Ohio State, Syracuse, Penn St, and Florida. The combination of Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, and State have one commitment (total, for all four) in 2015.
I guess it depends on your opinion of where we stand with the ~70 uncommited recruits.
pakfanistanParticipantMy only fear with Anya is that he might play his way into the lottery by next Spring.
I bet what he is really doing is trying to get in shape for the Krispy Kreme Challenge.
Some guys getting drafted early might help us more than hurt us in the long run. I can’t put my finger on why, but I feel like last years bust of a draft was a real negative for recruiting.
Edit: Also Purvis leaving.
07/11/2014 at 1:12 PM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53578pakfanistanParticipantHow does one say “SSDD” in illegal immigrant-ese?
“Más de la misma mierda de siempre.”
maybe?
07/11/2014 at 11:34 AM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53572pakfanistanParticipant¡Qué lástima!
07/11/2014 at 9:34 AM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53563pakfanistanParticipantAs for the “man” comment, I was playing off previous comments. Besides, referencing a somewhat lacking ‘manliness’ is a compliment to a big part of his base. Im not joking.
What’s that based on? I don’t see that at all. And, I was probably a little oversensitive about your previous comment because of SR44s previous antics.
pakfanistanParticipantCats in the garden is a perfect solution in my book. Or my .410 which ever works best.
I’m a city boy now, the cops are probably going to show up if I start popping off rounds. I have thought about getting a slingshot…
07/10/2014 at 11:31 PM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53551pakfanistanParticipantSarah Palin > Hillary Clinton
…stuff….
I can’t reconcile that with what I’ve seen when she speaks publicly. She must be way better in private than she is on camera.
Which, while I’m thinking about it, the “waterboarding is how we baptize terrorists” comment was abysmally stupid. It completely ignores the history of animosity between Christianity and Islam, and it also implies Christianity is the de facto state religion. I find both to be unhelpful in today’s political climate and religious tensions.
Speaking of “being a man”, I’m not sure if Obama is more girly than Palin, or if Palin is more manly than Obama.
I get that you don’t like Obama, that’s fine, I’m not crazy about him either (shocking I know), but do we really have to resort to attacking his real or imagined manliness? It’s that kind of thing that’s always the first resort when people want to dehumanize another person, and I think we should be better than that (also shocking, I know).
pakfanistanParticipantIf you guys really wanted the pot stirred, you could have said this was great news for Obama’s favorite team. 😀
I lol’d.
07/10/2014 at 4:35 PM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53512pakfanistanParticipantOk. Got it figured out. Forget I tried to have a discussion and I don’t have time for Obama like mocking and snarky comments.
Oh poor put upon you, who tried so hard to have a reasonable discussion…
you…are just a shrill for the adminstration
I can’t keep you from being too stupid to realize there are two valid sides to most issues
However you and this administration seems to miss the civic lessons in high school that explained how a democaracy worked.
I have seen you in action enough to know you shower everyone with fireworks at the meantion of the mirror oposite of your 5 points.
Glad I could upgrade your understanding of the TTAP and the civil case to the lawyer/rule of law level from your previous Huffington Post level. It was quite apparent your never read and understood the rule of law in play on either case.
Why don’t you follow your own advice? I thought this was a dead topic but you keep stirring it back up. Everyone is a dick but you I guess.
I tend to gather facts first since the “other side” is held to a higher standard than just have Ms. Huffington or NY Times say something so therefore it must be true
07/10/2014 at 4:04 PM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53508pakfanistanParticipantYou ignore the radical idiots yet you know and can name many of them in the Republican party but in answer to my question of any there might be in the Democratic party you “ignore them” and cannot name any. So there is no one in the Democratic party that is the equivalent of Palin in your opinion?
You realize Palin was brought up in this thread right? I didn’t go out searching for news of her. Somebody else posted about her multiple times. I haven’t named ‘many’ radical idiots in the Republican party. I’ve only commented that I think Sarah Palin is a mouth breather. I’m not wasting my time trying to find somebody in the Democratic party who has said something stupid lately. If you have somebody in mind that you think is the equivalent of Palin, just say.
Regarding the immigrants I did say “mostly” and I am also taking about illegal immigrants. I doubt you run across only illegal immigrants in your day to day life.
How would you know unless you asked them for their documents? To the best of my knowledge they don’t look any different.
07/10/2014 at 3:37 PM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53504pakfanistanParticipantI find that hard to believe or understand unless you are also one of inelastic ideologists that the country seems paralyzed by today.
How does that make any sense? I try to ignore the radical idgits so that makes me one of them? What?
Also, I’m all for immigration reform. It’s of special interest to me because I have a friend who’s basically a PHD in economics and is struggling with the green card process.
and amnesty for the 11-30 million illegals already here (who mostly fail the best and brightest test).
I don’t know where you live, but the immigrants I run across in my day to day life are some of the hardest working people I know. And they’re the backbone of our service and food production industries. I wouldn’t discount them so easily.
pakfanistanParticipantRedcanine,
Here is why you should change your hierarchy of needs. Some people still dump chemicals and used oil down the drains. That stuff ends up somewhere. Hell even cooking grease. You do like drinking water, right? If this salamander cannot survive do you think we will be able to reverse the damage man has done to kill it?

It’s called the tragedy of the commons.
07/10/2014 at 3:11 PM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53500pakfanistanParticipantAnd you see no one like that in the Democratic party?
I tend to ignore the doofuses. So no.
07/10/2014 at 3:04 PM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53498pakfanistanParticipantHard core as in unyielding liberal or conservative that cannot have a reasonable discussion and/or give and take decisions.
That would explain why Red loves her so much.
07/10/2014 at 2:58 PM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53496pakfanistanParticipant“Insert any hard core liberal or conservative politician name” is the Rashad McCants of the “Insert associated political party”.
If Sarah Palin is a core member of the Republican party, you guys are in trouble. She’s the biological equivalent of a Teddy Ruxpin that spouts conservative catch phrases.
If Teddy Ruxpin is in the drivers seat, you’re headed for a ditch.
07/10/2014 at 2:41 PM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53491pakfanistanParticipantRaised by wimmen = weak man, sorry if that hits close to home bro.
Being a man is based on how you act, not how you were raised. I’m not surprised you don’t understand that.
07/10/2014 at 2:15 PM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53487pakfanistanParticipantIs it true that most liberal men had terrible or absent fathers growing up? That’s my hypothesis.
Is it true that most conservative men sleep with a night light on while hiding under a blanky sucking their thumb and clutching a Remington 870? That’s my hypothesis.
07/10/2014 at 1:06 PM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53482pakfanistanParticipant-
Mark Levin:
As for Palin’s remarks, Levin endorsed them by declaring Palin “stands with the framers.”
“I was just going to say on impeachment, Sarah Palin is right, if we had a functional constitutional republic with a president who violates separation of powers, who thumbs his nose at the court system and says he’s going to do more and more of it, she’s exactly right,” he added. “This would be an open-and-shut case. She stands with the framers. So, what is Boehner’s answer? What are the Republicans going to do? They’re going to wait for the next election? That doesn’t fix it.”
Sarah Palin is the Rashad McCants of the Republican party.
07/10/2014 at 9:31 AM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53478pakfanistanParticipantWhy? Do you want to file a complaint?
07/10/2014 at 8:57 AM in reply to: U.S. Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark registration #53476pakfanistanParticipantPaki, you don’t really drive a Jeep Cherokee, do you? I mean, rumor has it that…
I drive a Pontiac Chieftan. It’s built on principles that honor Native Americans, such as reliability, build quality, fuel efficiency and power.
pakfanistanParticipantWhere are you guys getting the lump charcoal? The stuff I picked up last time is tree branches and tiny bits. Super irritating.
