We suck. We are 4 years in and Dave Doeren can’t even beat a mediocre team. Meanwhile, Duke, UNC, and ECU all dominate us. Time for a change.
I have been watching this same kind of crap for 25 years. I let myself get lured into to watching us weekly lately because we are starting to play well. For a moment, I thought we might actually win a big game. What a joke to think such a thing. I have an image of gametracker showing us with a 90.2% chance of winning. I hate sports.
Terrible terrible outcome. Officials were the worst I’ve seen in some time for both sides. Sid totally mismanaged the end of the game. It was stupid to try and sit on that lead. Then he called the timeout on the wrong end of the floor AGAIN! We were owning them offensively in the first half…we should’ve kept that up by attacking inside. Was Smith injured? Why did he not play in the last ten minutes? That is mind boggling to me. Fells has come back to life but we went into a ball holding offense which shut all our scorers down. Horner choked….although it was a high pressure situation that he probably hasn’t been in that much. I thought Javi played a pretty good game considering and hats off to Ben for a good showing today as well.
