All of it falls to the coach. We had this same conversation about TOB.
We got back in it with the press… sooooo, we go away from it.
This is starting to remind me of TOB. The coach can be blind to the obvious for only so long.

Holy crap has the stock gotten ahead of itself here. I am optimistic, but we have never handled high expectations well.
I’m not sure why so many people are peeved about our use of the wildcat last year.
My complaint was that our RB’s ran it themselves almost every single time, so it was easily read by the opposing D. I guess that is expected.
However, if they handed off more it may worked better over the long run.
Lets all face it….we are a football school.

Tough loss. Trying to stay objective. Shot selection in tight games is a problem. I think Gottfried just believes in quantity over quality.
??? McClendon is built like a QB, not a RB. He also apparently throws like one. Dude is likely the future for us at QB. I don’t understand this discussion at all.
I’d like to see tape of the numerous times a top team in the ACC pushes off like that… they don’t call it. That was horsecrap
