I am curious about how much of this renovation had to do with environmental remediation. Was that part of the calculus?
PackFamilyParticipantHow do i copy and embed that video? I’ve also tried finding it on ESPN but can’t
PackFamilyParticipantI saw Glennon tonight at the Kenny Chesney concert. He apparently loves him some No Shoes…
PackFamilyParticipantThe football schedule on the right has the correct order of games but the incorrect dates for each one. Looks like last year’s dates and this year’s schedule.
PackFamilyParticipantYou misspelled Ohama
PackFamilyParticipantHeadline misspelled; says ” Forth Worth”
PackFamilyParticipantThat was some reverse NC State Sh!t right there!
Avent, win one and i’ll get off your back.
PackFamilyParticipantI was there with the wife and had good seats (as could anyone who walked in…)
The three early runs were what we needed as ND’s pitching improved after that. Ours was awesome however. I am not a baseball expert so my ignorance showed a little: Brown’s action looked strange to me; turns out that was his change-up.PackFamilyParticipantSo is Raphael Palmeiro
PackFamilyParticipantThe wife and I are here now. Rain delay but it is just spitting.
Bobby Lutz is in the house.
PackFamilyParticipantThis is a great pickup.
247Sports ranks Witt as the nation’s No. 31 offensive tackle and No. 8 player in the state of Illinois regardless of position.
Someone should tell that to Rivals. They have him unranked with little info on him.
Surprising that IL doesn’t produce more football athletes given the size of their population.
PackFamilyParticipantI think VT may be living off some of their previous work as i see a slow steady descent in their performance. It is not clear to me what others see for placing them so high. It’s almost like a “we are setting the bar high for Beamer to keep his job” situation.
Watson is the wild card at Clemson. He is special but they don’t have anyone good enough to replace him if his injuries persist.
PackFamilyParticipantRussell was not tearing up the world at the time he departed the program. His most promising season was the tail-end of his freshman year, and a number of eggs were laid on the field during the next two years. It was obvious that missing spring practice while chasing some secondary dream was not in the football programs best interest. No way in hell did he appear to be on the track that has played out, and I don’t believe if he’d have stayed in the program, it would have played out the same, regardless.
And then he suddenly became a world beater at Wisky? I think your statement has more to do with our coach’s lack of ability to produce with his talent than anything else.
PackFamilyParticipantI loved TOB as a person and at the time as a coach as well. This has got to be one of the worst coaching decisions in CFB’s modern era and it was obvious at the time. He started losing me from this point onward. Only at NCSU do we chase away what turns out to be a Super Bowl winning QB… and then try to rationalize why it was the right decision.
Wisky still laughs at us.
PackFamilyParticipantFirst time watching on Direct TV. Is anyone else having trouble hearing the announcers?
PackFamilyParticipantHis ashes are spread in NC as well.
I was a huge wrestling fan growing up. It bothered me as a kid when he went bad for a while. I know it was all shtick but as a kid (who still knew it was staged), i had trouble with it.
Wrestling had the amazing effect of making an irrational maniac out of the most sane person. My wife is still embarrassed of her grandfather, the most intelligent man around (trained in the Navy in communications; sold the first tv in his hometown electronics shop, etc.), who would become crazed watching WWF. He thought it was real.
Homer Simpson newspaper cover headline “Local Man Thinks Wrestling Is Real”
PackFamilyParticipantThose will become increasingly less frequent with the current coach. His coaching style and methodology will eventually keep them at a minimum, if not eliminated.
One trait about CDD that i have found impressive: he seems to focus on the process over just wins and losses. He doesn’t seem to care about (or is not intimidated by) FSU, Clemson, and L’ville. It seems legit with him versus some of the imitators in CFB.
PackFamilyParticipantHe won’t. Not what they were.
Best scenario for Beamer is that he’s able to scrap together an 8 or 9 win season that wins the Coastal sometime in the next 3-5 years giving him the opportunity to retire on a ‘high’ note.
Otherwise you’re looking at a Bowden situation in Blacksburg.
‘Foose, did we do a mind meld?
PackFamilyParticipantIn addition to thanking our boys and coaches, i need to admit where i was wrong. I got pretty down on them during the mid-season losses. It felt like the same NC State story we’ve seen so many times. I also was complaining that Gott’s focus on defense was resulting in us having no offense (or defense). I was wrong about that.
Anyway, Go Pack!
PackFamilyParticipantGottfried saying Cat has a virus. That would explain his off night.
PackFamilyParticipantCat is just not ready for prime time.
Cat played great for us all the way down the stretch. He was one of the main reasons we got here.
PackFamilyParticipantThese tv timeouts are ridiculous. Oh well they may help us down the stretch.
PackFamilyParticipantwe need to shoot better from the 3 to open the paint. Freeman looks afraid to closer than the foul line
PackFamilyParticipantI’m getting excited and anxious. I think we are feeling a deeper run.
PackFamilyParticipantDon’t worry, it’s in the clouds:
