One thing that has always hurt is how many kids leave the state to play in the SEC/FSU/OSU/ND
This year, 4 of the top 7 are staying home (2 for each of NCSU/UNC) and the # 3 and 8 (Rivals.com) are undecided. If we can build several years of at least 3 top-10 kids coming here (and admittedly the same for UNC), football in the state will be much stronger.
Darrell Hazell was the coach of Kent State, whom CDD’s team beat on the MAC game. Taggart was at WKU.
Like CDD, Hazell, Taggart, Dykes (and Bielema) all had horrible seasons. Either all of the coaching hires from last year were duds or all of those programs are hard to turn around (or both).
Btw, Copeland is off the team.
All i want to know is if Jacoby Brissett = Baller
Sounds like Pete is transferring out. Best of luck to him. He seems like a great kid and ultimate team player.
I think it is great that CDD named JB the starter. It’s pretty obvious he will be and he wants the team to rally around him. None of this will matter though after the first few games. It’s all we got to talk about right now.
I was expecting this to be about punting on 4th and 1 to Clemson in 2010… or punting to Gio.
