I’ll go ahead and get it out now so i don’t have to type at the end of the game:
That call on KW was debatable, but it cost us the game. Had we made free throws, not turned it over inside the last minute, and closed out the game, we would have on.
Seriously, don’t even let it be close inside the final 4 minutes. Go Pack!
It looks like a good call. The arguments for continuation as well as the quick calls on State to start the half a re legit arguments. Hopefully we learn to close out games and won’t have to worry about this.
It’s areas like this where bias seems to play the largest role in viewing the issue, on both sides. Instead of focusing on whether or not State should’ve won, it would be better to focus on that specific play: Was TJW fouled in the process of shooting/continuation foul? From there, the rest can be argued to death.
And while it’s frustrating to get jobbed, State will be much better off to focus on what it can control and close out games. If fouls and a let-them-play mentality rules the last minute of a game, our guys should play by those rules as well. We should get more aggressive; something i have not yet seen.

They’re the #1 team in the nation and were 24-0. Does the level of competition play into your analysis, or is it all just NC State v. a vacuum? Our guys played all out and well against a strong defensive team.
Apparently we have a player named Green. That’s alright, he’s only our best player (TJW) and Green played for VT last year.
