Man, I wish this site kept up with content and discussion like it used to.
I don’t know… The way it is you only have to check the site once every couple of days. ;-(Besides who wants to read snappy Wolfpack put-downs, which many posters think is real entertainment. I know I get very tired of them. If I want to read that kind of “humor” I’ll go over to Inside Carolina for it.
Every couple of days? I have been jonesing for content updates about every other minute. And Pack Pride is full of garbage and Carolina obsession.

Hey everyone first time poster long time forum lurker. wondering if anyone had any thoughts about Johnny Frasier and why he isn’t higher up on the depth chart. I don’t think it’s a lack of talent is he just not understanding the playbook or what. It would really suck not to see him live up to his potential considering what a steal he was by state.
Could be the same type problem that McKever is having — not being a complete player. we had a 5-play package for McKever in the Belk Bowl. Not enough.I doubt it’s a lack of talent. Is it that Frasier is not blocking or hasn’t learned to block? That limited JaySam’s appearances his freshman year. I heard something about ‘checking his ego at the door’ whatever that means. Thad Moss was a nasty blocker Thursday. He was in on 32 snaps even tho he wasn’t thrown to all that often and even then it was late in the game after the starters had called it a night.
IOW I don’t know why Frasier is not playing more. 🙂
The risk with Frasier is the coaching staff not getting him there. I’ve seen where players like this transfer and blow up elsewhere.
I’m not saying they should coddle him, but they need to get him bought in to everything he has to do win the starting job after Dayes is gone.
PackFamilyParticipantThoughts on their QB, Philip Nelson?
Man, I wish this site kept up with content and discussion like it used to. I like it so much more than the other one.
I’ll do my part, if’n it’ll help.
PackFamilyParticipantGlad we got the win and that MG shook up the team….but why does it have to come to this before he demands excellence? We’ve seen this before.
Now that they have won, does MG go back to his previous style of coaching? Until he demands this level of performance consistently, we’re still just a middle of the road ACC team.
PackFamilyParticipantIt seemed to me the turning point was the strike during the 2012-2013 season, although there is a delay from that in the numbers. This is a tough market as college basketball overlaps a major part of the season
PackFamilyParticipantMike Uremovich, OLine coach, leaving to take the OC job at NIU
PackFamilyParticipantAlso surprised it was Canada first, but it’s not over yet. I am glad to see some accountability and not personal loyalty above team. This is a refreshing change.
PackFamilyParticipant…when we have a QB who has the ability to throw the ball down the field
Completely disagree.. JB has shown no ability to accurately throw past 20 yards with any consistency.
I am on board with replacing the DC. I understand the frustration with Canada sometimes. I think he does well most of the time, and gets a little squirrely when our defense puts us in a whole.
PackFamilyParticipantTA fumbled the ball at Ohio state as Rivers was leading a come from behind. He cost State more than one win.
TA didn’t fumble to cost us the game at OSU. He was stopped just short of the goal line in triple OT. He played his heart out in that game while injured.

Good enough to beat ANYONE with the DL,OL,RB,TE.
Not big enough, or athletic enough at WR,and D back 7.
Jacoby was tough, but did not progress.
Not sure if Huxtable survives. I’m really curious as to what happened with McKeever this year.CD: Agree with you on most of that but disagree on OL part; especially pass blocking. When your QB is getting sacked multiple times in every game, you don’t have a good OL. I understand Jacoby and the WR’s are a part of that, but our OL is bad. I think the left side, where the three seniors are, is the weakest link. Don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing for the future.
PackFamilyParticipantI know Jerricho will be at the game tomorrow
PackFamilyParticipantWe don’t match up well against the Heels and the gap is larger this year than any since maybe ’97. IF we are to beat them, i see two strengths we can exploit: Our strong Dline getting to MW consistently and our run blocking (and subsequent running game/clock control)
PackFamilyParticipantAnnounced UK
PackFamilyParticipantAfter watching both teams play, i think we have a legit shot at beating FSU. Our run defense is capable of stopping Cook and their QB situation is not strong. We have proven that we can score multiple touchdowns on any ACC team. Can be a signature win.
FSU is favored by 9.5
PackFamilyParticipantWe need top take out the sweep with Hines
PackFamilyParticipantGet the starters out
PackFamilyParticipantWe got away with a facemask
PackFamilyParticipantJB took a shot to his throwing shoulder on that one
PackFamilyParticipantExpecting BC to bring in the other QB. We’ll need to adjust
PackFamilyParticipantTD! Samuels has special qualities. He makes it look easy
PackFamilyParticipantTD! I think the announcers expected that to be incomplete. Welcome to the game guys.
PackFamilyParticipantThat was a catch
PackFamilyParticipantMeh. That pick was better than a sack
PackFamilyParticipantI don’t understand our play calling so far
PackFamilyParticipantListening to these two announcers is already making my ears bleed
