i hear ya Rye, and agree totally with your sentiment. State should be performing well above where we have for a number of years and it really is inexcusable. Heres hoping we can find our way into being in the top third of the league perennially
we’re no wild card. we are an after thought. we haven’t won the conference in over 20 years.
I agree, the Central loss and the WFU loss are gonna hurt if we start to play a little better. The Mizzou game hurts too(although it might not hurt our RPI as much) just b/c we gave that one away. Its interesting our RPI is as high as it is. I thought we were done for sure, but we still have a fighters chance. I dont expect us to make the tourney, but its nice for the season not to be over just yet.
I dont really care for the schedule…but she is right, we will probably stink again this year so a soft schedule might not be the worst thing. You gotta give it to her, she communicates with the fans far more effectively than previous AD’s
Foose is correct. We had several enroll early (counting ultimately against last yrs #’s) and a few a gray shirting as well, which dont count against this years #’s either.
its my understanding we are at the 25 max (which includes a spot for Shawn Boone) who is holding an ‘announcement’ party at his high school, but has already ‘announced” to our coaches he is committed. So unless, something unforeseen happens, we don’t have space for Thomas-Williams. which makes the Shad issue an even larger one.
Throwing out their recent grades/admissions data from 2012-13 really grinds my gears… OF COURSE your numbers are great now, you have just been through an NCAA investigation. Who on earth is dumb enough to hear that and not see it for the spin it is.
dang, the women are the real deal. congrats to them on their success so far this season. hope they make some noise in the NCAAs this year… it will be the only NCAA tourney games we can watch featuring an NC State team.
shutting down Willinghams Research credentials makes them look so petty. She has already re-applied… she is NOT going away.
Folt speaks…. i just got an email from a UNC friend with her letter. She seems to be questioning Willinghams info, then she throws out the 2012-2013 academics info as a beacon of their academic intergrity(like it wouldnt be good in 2012-13 considering the pressure theyre under), then finally rounds it all out into a larger indictment of the entire college sports scene (ie, everyone is doing it).

MSM can write as many articles as they want, with as much damning evidence as they please, but until an independent investigation is called for and had…. nothing will come from this.

me: “heard, you are about to hire a new womens B-ball coach, can you give me any info?”

me” “well, can he/she coach worth a damn?”
Fowler: “i dont know if she can coach, but shes hot as hell”
I know not what this bear is you guys are talking about. i went through and re-read the entry by Jigga…. am i missing the chart? i am using internet explorer. should i try chrome?
Nyangoro and Crowder better be careful. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone ends up face down in a ditch somewhere if this thing starts getting out of hand.
