Good officiating. Could even say one of Xavier charges was really blocking. But HEY the 50/50 calls have to come to us with out of conference refs. Hilarious.
If we lose by 2 or less we can thank Dez for scoring against us. We had 4 on 1 for that rebound. Smh.
Warren has missed a lot of shots. Not playing well.

We are better to watch, have ACC POY, had coaching support, and most importantly played extremely well in the tourney. Your job is in part to promote the tourney after all….so uh, get the hottest teams in.
State plays 4 freshman and 2 sophomore which explains some of the earlier close losses. They are much improved and were the best remaining team to play well in the dance.
Or not. Seriously doubt Herb or Sid would have received the bid in the same situation.

UVA is a legit 1 seed. Duke played WELL today and was simply beat by a better team. They can win it all.
The RPI is a flawed measure. The BCS is far superior. It uses point differential in games.
If you asked opposing NCAA coaches which bubble teams they’d rather not play…NC State would be at the top. We are playing top 25 basketball right now.

I fear it behooves us to pull for Dook. A blowout would be even better. We beat a 2/3 seed then played tough a 1 seed.
Logic dictates that losing by a point and winning by a point are roughly equivalent. At least the BCS formula includes score. RPI is inferior to BCS.
Our chances went from zero to a positive number regardless of the Duke game.
9 point dogs. Bigger than the spread against Houston circa 83′. In a few hours we can enjoy the serenity that comes with the seasons merciful end.
In hindsight, this team wins 2 of 3: Clemson/Wake/Miami.

I was a child too young to remember the last time we had a coach who had a legitimate chance to win the ACC dance with any team he brought. Missing Valvano.
Bennett and Warren are easily your COY and POY. HUGE slight to both persons and programs if either lose the honor.
Is Tony Warren seriously going to have back to back 40 point games??? That’s grown man stuff. Hope the Knicks draft him so I can watch my new apartment will be two avenues away.
I think the Jeff Goodman’s of the world take out their frustration of Gott sucking on Warren. No reason this team should have these tremendous lapses.
Coach has a tendency to fly by seat of his pants with personnel decisions. Sometimes think Lowe is back out there…eh at least we have the 8-10th best coach in the ACC instead of worst in major conferences (Lowe).
Miami, Louisville, ‘Cuse, UNC, Duke, UVA, Pitt have UNarguably better coaches. FSU shows you can win ACC with a mediocre coach and good strategy. BC/Clemson coaches…arguably could take our talent and out-perform.
Too early to bash Gott….yikes.
In all fairness, I understand that Parker is the better talent, but that isn’t what POY is. That’s what the draft is for.
TJ has played himself into late lottery pick. He might be a steal there. He keeps getting better – i.e., his shot is improving which makes him unguardable at this level in isolation, double team, box and 1…whatever you throw at him.
He would be a National POY contender if he stuck around next year (pigs will fly). Thankfully he didn’t go to UNC they would figure out a way to keep him 5 years.
