ETA-Sad news about Ali…always loved the interplay between he and Cosell…whatever Cosell wasn’t, he was a GREAT boxing announcer IMO.
Certainly this is good news, but I thought that the NCAA’s stance on HB2 precluded this? Maybe we hired a bunch of attorneys or the NCAA is convinced that Raleigh is not really in NC (LOL)?

The holes are currently tied with WF for the 10th spot in the league…if head-to-head is the first tie-breaker, Wake swept the holes and should knock those ba$tards out of the ACCT, if the foregoing is correct.
ETA-Wuf and CD are correct, BC must beat GT again today to knock the holes out, currently lead 4-0 in the 2nd.

Time to get the Hole hate crankin’…went to the Coaches Caravan last night in Winston and had an interesting chat with a ’56 IE grad; his daughter went to the dump on the hump and earned a degree in Medical Technology. After a time she decided to go to a real University and got into State to pursue an IE major like her dad. We laughed when he told us that State accepted only 34 of her unx credit hours-we agreed that was still too many!
Terrible news-awful disease…I remember the story of longtime WCU FB Coach Bob Waters who passed of this disease more than 25 years ago. He fought the good fight and we pray for Chris, who will fight the good fight as well.
Remember the required 50-yd swim very well…I had been on a swim team since the age of six, so it was no problem. I got my Water Safety Instructor certification as a PE course at State and part of this was helping to teach those that were not ‘100% waterproof’ to pass the 50-yd test. I remember one of those telling me that the only water he wanted to see was the pond on the farm!
Like the ‘old school’ upbraiding; goes right to the heart of what this operation is and has been for decades.
