Pack78Participant
Just be careful that MG and BillyBob don’t go out boozing afterwards. Hee hee.
Mammas-Lock up yo’ daughters-LOL
Pack78ParticipantGood one, Grey…and SO TRUE!
Pack78ParticipantLouisville is home of the “hot brown.”
Hmmm-a backhanded reference to the Cardinal basketball scandal?
Pack78Participant1) It is McCallum not Maccallum. The handle is Highland Scot, sand hill Presbyterian, reformed, strict and stern. Originally from Oban. That said I am not bothered by what you call me.
I count among my forebears Andersons and Campbells…maternal grandparents from Glasgow and Edinburgh. Strict Calvinist (and Knox) Presbyterian persuasion-I raise a dram of finely crafted single malt to you sir (and Go Pack)!
10/15/2016 at 4:50 PM in reply to: Show Us Where the Bad Howard's Rock Touched You Game Thread #108362Pack78ParticipantWe are a good team with no placekicker…hope the team can come back mentally for the rest of the season…that Pack squad could win the rest of ’em.
Pack78ParticipantThis had me rolling. Very Hunter S. Thompson.
GSO-Did it include having a head full of mescaline and zooming around in the cockpit of a plane like a giant Condor?
Pack78ParticipantIf naught for a field goal we’d be 5-0 right now. If we played the pie rats right now my bet is we’d blow ’em off the field.
True words-its not just who ya play, its also when ya play ’em…
Pack78ParticipantBack in from the game and all dried out (well on the outside anyway)…the Domers Gott a couple of real gift 4th down spots on their last drive, so the worm-burner snap evened things up, never should have been that close to scoring. Good win for our side…biased view from Sec. 30: the better team won!
Pack78Participant^Good point, Grey…if Katrina could target Nawlins’ because of all of the ‘people of color’, then Matthew can definitely skip NC for HB2!
Pack78ParticipantI see that both Dook and the Cheats are home on Saturday as well-point has been made that our LEOs can be much better involved in weather-related responses other than traffic control at football games for this one. Could the game(s) be moved to Sunday?
Pack78ParticipantI predicted 31-17 Pack in the other thread, so I will take credit for that…however, the real score was Pack 33, Deacs 7, Zebras 9. The ‘overinvolvement’ of the stripes aided several Deac scoring drives and plugged up a couple of ours. So, yes I am bitchin’ about the refs after a good win-progress!
Pack78ParticipantFirst job out of NCSU was covering a large sales territory for a big automotive finishes supplier in the Midwest. One of our premium products was a diisocyanate-cured polyurethane commercial finish widely used in a variety of markets. The big commercial operations handled the product properly (labeling was loaded with warnings), but I called on more than one smaller user that was not properly equiped to operate safely-you could become sensitized to these chemicals in a fairly short period of time depending on your physiology. Been out of that market for decades-hopefully users are more circumspect.
Pack78ParticipantPack 31 (includes a FG!) Deacs 17
BTW, good recognition for Jack Tocho:

Interesting, interesting
Pack78ParticipantPitt had the ball ~9 minutes left in the game with a 13-pt. lead…Canada dials up 2 3-and-outs using up only ~3:30 on the clock and unx goes on two long scoring drives to win with .02 left. Clearly trying to run out the clock rather than continuing what was working…of course the defense failed as well…
Pack78ParticipantDuke beats ND 38-35 in South Bend…
Pack78ParticipantWe know that the transitive property does not apply to football scores, but the last two Pye-Rat games do make our ECU loss look even worse…
Pack78Participant^Bring on the Brats-got a real taste for Kielbasa and Italian sausage from living in Michigan way back when-great in a bun or any other way…
Pack78ParticipantRe the foregoing discussions of the CYA goings on at the Dump on the Hump: I have heard for years that money was appropriated back in the late 1800’s for the starting of an A&M-type college…$$$ was to be administered by elements of UNC for this purpose. The money was retained by these crooks (not just a recent phenomenon) with no founding of a college while efforts to add-on to UNC continued. New funding was generated in the 1880’s and became the NCSU that we know today.
Also have heard that there was a great effort back in the day to establish the School of Engineering in CH instead of Raleigh…Pack78ParticipantThought Bum said that about Don Shula.
Pack78ParticipantHope ya had a livermush sandwich before topping it off with one of those chocolate shakes…
Pack78ParticipantDecoder ring? Be sure to drink your Ovaltine.
Don’t waste your time…I strongly suspect that its nothing but a crummy commercial…
Pack78Participant^I remember listening to the end of that game on the way home from one of ours…Appy announcers justifiably went nuts.
Pack78ParticipantRemember hearing Randle doing color commentary on college FB broadcasts (circa 80’s?)…seems like he also did UVA games. First time I heard him on the radio, I wondered ‘Who is that country joker?’
Pack78ParticipantKaylee Harting. Yes!!
Yeah-I’m an old married guy now, but, back in the day, if Kaylee had been around and wanted to go out, Ida done her a favor (LOL)…
Pack78ParticipantTech with the win on a last-minute TD…already getting fired up for the Dawgs-Cheats game; my late dad was, and both bros are GT grads and I grew up with an abiding hatred of UGA that was transferred to unx upon my matriculation at State. I have never, ever pulled for the Dawgs…until TODAY! Hoping for a 42-0 UGA wipeout of the dump on the hump!
