None of you know just how good a 77 year old pack grad feels about being ahead. “A little pussy never hurt the Pack.”
Plain ole outclassed in every aspect. Sadly, the Pack won’t be any better next year with that offensive coaching and selection of offensive plays.
Even though we just scored, from my perch up here in Allentown, PA Dave Doren’s management looks so much like the Eagles’ Chip Kelly’s it is sickening. The Eagles are on their way to a solution….
wolf71 you might be right. But I still have wonderful memories. 1967 Earle took the white shoes boys to Houston, #1. We beat them. My wife and I jumped on my Honda 90 and headed from McKimmon Village to Hillsboro Street. By the time we reached PR I had 5 people hanging on the back. I pulled over at the Velvet Cloak, unloaded, and we marched to the Capitol. We went to #2 or #3 in the nation. Bad luck hit us and we lost to Penn State and we went down to Clemson and lost. Beat Georgia in the Liberty Bowl. If only we could do it again…
Been a PACK fan since the 50s. Today like many others pissed me off. My morale plunged because: first series major turnover; QB draw and lose a couple of yards. WTF. Why not twist the dagger??? Last series first half; WTF drop our heads and walk off the field with time for at least 3 plays??? Where is the dagger? 2nd qtr major turnover; QB draw and gain 1. WTF. Does anyone recognize we need to start developing a QB??? We need to mhit often and hard. Another major let down for me. When will it end?
On to next week. Keep the margin under 50. IMO we are not in their league, but I have hope, and I will never give up pulling for the Pack.

Until this year, I do not recall when we did not have a good/great kicker since my freshman year, 1965.I guess my expectations got too high in the 1st qtr; the last 3 have been very hard to watch. I cannot relax yet. Too much typical State play.
State ain’t never gonna break out of that 28 point first quarter with the current level of play. Gotta stick it to the Deacs.
Brissett’s play has steadily declined since the first quarter. Bad throws and bad decisions have taken over. That has to change to keep Wake out of the end zone.
Old MO shifted toward WF in Q2. Do not like that shift. DD seems to know what needs to be done in the 2nd half. Will the players respond with kill’em play coming out of the locker room. I am anxiously waiting.
Typically what happens when the Pack offense slows down…Wake scores. Now come back and score for the Pack!

The 2nd start ain’t impressive. I started the game on Evan Williams 1873, then Gosling Black Seal, then Tito Vodka. None are easing the pain. Think I’ll sit on the condo deck here in SHV Southport, NC and enjoy life.
