ParticipantKeep Hearing the rowan is an almost “lock” for SJU at this point. It’s critical to get him on Campus, which could change his mind, but right now it’s a long shot.
The Greek on the Other hand is deciding his future this week. Its looking like he will be stateside and if that does come to Fruition then we are in great position.
Former SJU Center Chris Obekpa visited Minnesota and removed them from consideration. Right now he is setting up Visits with Arizona State and NC State. Says he will spend the year off working on his offense.

ParticipantRowan down to three schools.
Us
St. Johns (two open schollys one for Rowan and One for Papa G.)
and Wisconsin (one open scholly for rowan)With the Bo Ryan Announcement Wisconsin is the long shot. We will get a visit in July.
Greece is going into Financial shut down. Papa G’s contract state he can only go to that state this year or leave for The NBA next year. With the very real possibility of not getting paid ANYTHING next year expect him state side.

Participant^^ I don’t know if that one works in our favor. They have Nike – the Greek goddess of victory.
Oregon just lost out to a 5-star point guard who chose Kentucky. Maybe that was part of the Ducks equation.
Oregon only had one scholly anyway and need Papa more than they needed Murray

ParticipantThis proves that the corruption was institution wide.. not in just one area like UNC was trying to say. this is a precursor.

ParticipantDorn’s only other real offer besides Charlotte was Harvard so academics shouldn’t be concern. Until Scholarships start being more than a year to year commitment from a school to a player, I’ll never have a problem with players leaving.
