Trying to find some rule explanations. What are the two hash marks below the yardage numerals used for? Is offsides considered breaking the plane?
Glad that *NC lost. Just wish there was no controversy. The targeting call when Switzer got hit was suspect, as well as the non-call on Watson, where he left for a play and then during the onsides kick. Clemson tried really hard to beat themselves.
Current CO grew up in Durham, went to USNA. Surely he knows the background. I checked out the sub’s Facebook page and almost puked. Lots of *NC gear flaunted. What really made me ill is the fact that they appear to have adopted the *NC flag as their own instead of the official flag of the state of NC.

Anyone know if the NFL is teaming up with the military on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) research? Our recent wars, especially with the IEDs have generated a tremendous number of casualties. I suspect there are some similarities in the cases. 22 veterans a day are taking their own lives.
Kick the can down the road. At some point I would hope the NCAA, or their Alumni would just say, “Enough!” and just clean house.
In about the 2nd inning the color commentator made a comment about *NC’s outstanding academics as a draw for recruits. I frightened my wife with the hoot I let out. Remember Hobbs Johnson’s miraculous summer school performance a few years back to remain eligible?
If some players are required to stay for three years, we will circle back to the issue of keeping them eligible and the yet unresolved mess over at *NC. I would like to see a player being told, “You need to go ahead and try to go pro because you are too much of a liability for any school to take you for three years.”
