ParticipantRe: throwing to Sherman – I have no idea. That was a no-brainier. Great game, just wish GB was on the other side of the score.

ParticipantUgh. I said at the time, GB had to punch in those TDs early, instead of settling for FGs. Catch the onside, and it’s over. *sigh*

ParticipantI get a real “teachable” vibe from the Martins.

ParticipantMy buddy and I couldn’t get our ish together for a road (water?) trip to the Link. I’m pulling for the Packers, but of course the S’Hawks are my #2 these days. I just hope that it’s a good game, AR’s calf holds up and there aren’t any no-catch catches. I want to see Nelson and Sherman go at it. I’d like to see Lacy have a strong game, I think he and Lynch have similar styles. I could do without another Beast Quake run, but we may well see one.

ParticipantWhew! I’ll take it. Gut check, never fell behind. Won against FSU ugly ball and f*cking Cremins.

Participantbox out!
MrPlywood
ParticipantI think that’s 2 plays out of TOs that State scored on. As it should be.
MrPlywood
ParticipantFreeman telling peeps to box out.

ParticipantNice hustle by Turner on the rebound, but missed chance on that possession. Value the ball boys!

ParticipantState 8-10 FTs. I have a feeling we’ll need that to continue.

ParticipantC’mon Cremins, STFU.
MrPlywood
ParticipantLacey is pressing.
MrPlywood
ParticipantThere’s been more meaningful movement on State’s part than I’ve seen in a long time. I like it!
MrPlywood
ParticipantOK, 12 is good. Weathered that run, kept it to double digits.
MrPlywood
ParticipantI want 10 or more lead at the half. Go get it boys.
MrPlywood
ParticipantHe stepped out, no three.

ParticipantDid Boris Badenoughsky talk about going to State?

ParticipantPly… how do have “secret” knowledge of something that won’t a “secret” to begin with???
You got it Bill, that’s exactly what I thought. That bunch is playing with semantics. I just wish someone would crack!
MrPlywood
ParticipantI don’t know what you guys are talking about. Wayne Walden said that he had no “secret knowledge” about the fake classes… that’s good enough for me.

ParticipantPrime, I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic or serious, but I would be interested to see such a study. Or more of them (see links). I don’t know how one would go about setting it up though. I’m pretty sure that confirmation bias has been discussed in relation to State bball, and I’m probably guilty of that to an extent.
I have bookmarked some relevant studies, probably posted these before but here they are again. There’s some interesting information in them, enough for me to conclude that there is probably both conscious (acknowledged “tendencies”, personal agendas, aka the KH Effect) and subconscious (the Blues are just “better”) factors at work.
