Syracuse wasn’t smart enough to get non athletes involved.
That was a stroke of genius by UNCCH. Of course we all know it’s a smokescreen, but gives the Holes and the NCAA enough plausible deniability.

Recipients of the emails included student-athletes and the director of basketball operations. There is no indication that the director of basketball operations questioned or reported concerns. To the contrary, the email and related data suggest the common practice of the director of basketball operations monitoring, identifying and then remedying academic concerns through email correspondence, which purportedly was being sent directly by the student-athletes to their professors.
Wow. To do this to Syracuse, they must have been really mad at UNC. Roy can rest easy now.
It really is mind-boggling isn’t it? There’s so much smoke at the Hole you’d think they’d all just have expired from inhalation by now. Maybe that’s what the NCAA is waiting for…

I am surprised about one thing though – I thought the NCAA was on extended leave since the Hole has been allowed to KCCO.

Yeah, looks like a 2 to me. They showed 27 angles, I’m surprised it wasn’t reviewed. Or was it? And in the “never going to get the call” category the VT point guard carried the ball before the pass. 😛

My thought too. 72% is about the 79th percentile. And if I counted right, State went 18 for 23 in the last ten minutes, for 78%.
Also, State beat Kerlina at the Dome despite shooting 35% from the field. These two games are encouraging in that it proves to the team that D can win games when your O isn’t quite there.
Fouling with the lead? That has to stop.
After 15 fouls, there should be three shots or two and the ball. The end of games are ridiculous.
