ParticipantAfter lecturing the world on their special mission, noble goals and lofty expectations they are showing all the bluster of the “carolina way” was just bluster.
They are playing MadLib games with semantics and doubling down on technicalities, perverting the letter of the law and ignoring the spirit, all in the name of winning. Meanwhile the NCAA has mounted a prosecution on par with OJ’s accusers.

ParticipantWatching Cards needing a run, GS dismantling the Cavs, and keeping an eye on this game. Too many sports!

ParticipantTurner stole home the other night, but the thing that I find intriguing, if you will, the dude is capable of breaking the career record for hitting the cycle.
Just like C’Dog to stir up some controversy. I don’t get the hype around the cycle. It’s an oddity which somehow seems separate from the game. I’ve seen games when a guy needs a single for the cycle, and the announcers are hoping for a single. As a batter I’d want another homer. If those hits were timely and produced runs, then fine. Otherwise I’d rather have a 4 homer game, or 3 homers and a triple, or…

ParticipantReport: SEC commissioner Sankey denies request to step down from North Carolina investigation
“Elliot Abrams — a Raleigh attorney representing a retired office administrator charged with violations — had written the NCAA saying Sankey had a “personal, professional and institutional interest” in the outcome as SEC commissioner while comparing it to “refereeing a championship game between an (Atlantic Coast Conference) team and an SEC team.”
Too funny considering the numerous conflicts of interest on unx’s side with this debacle.

ParticipantJust going to leave this here:

ParticipantSince there’s no joy in StL at the moment, here’s something else that Cubs fans will enjoy – Cubs fans ring bearers presenting the WC rings to the team. Pretty cool…
MrPlywood
ParticipantI do hope he owns Chicago next spring.
Me too, except for when they play the Packers…

ParticipantI don’t understand, you guys can type 4 paragraphs but you cant type a guys name. who the %&#% is GFK?
Pretty easy to figure out, but it’s Maverick Rowan, the GhostFace Killah (GFK)
I dunno enough to really speak intelligently… in spite of the fact that’s not a SFN requirement…
…and yet MORE trolling 😉
MrPlywood
ParticipantGFK is ghosting the Pack.
MrPlywood
Participantthe other site’s posters are hinting that Kapita and Rowan are not returning stating that their skills do not reflect Keatts style of play.
Which begs the question – what was Gott’s style of play? IMO there was nothing to hang his hat on, no theme per se. I’d be inclined to give the new guy a chance.
Would Keatts not be smarter to play the style that reflects the players that he has.
You would think.

ParticipantWhat’s the problem? They prevailed while overcoming adversity, amid swirling innuendo, isn’t that what we all strive for? 😛
MrPlywood
ParticipantIt was there for the taking.

ParticipantAwful, awful play call from the Zags.
MrPlywood
Participantdo ya’ll THINK Carowhinner fans will complain about the refs?
Meeks gets his fourth – they’ve already started…
MrPlywood
ParticipantI’m afraid that Carolina will start to hit more of those threes and their size will wear Gonzaga down.
The Zags look every bit as big as the holes. I like that Collins kid, I hope Yurtseven is taking notes. I thought his third foul was bogus.
MrPlywood
ParticipantThe Zags came to play.
MrPlywood
ParticipantOne down 🙂
MrPlywood
ParticipantDid Jim Nance really refer to unx’s little 20 year scandal as “innuendo”?

Participantwe’re all Oregon Ducks fans this evening
