^ “Hongry”
MPParticipantI was going to say “sure!”. But I guess not….
MPParticipantAquarians rule!
(With deep thought and empathy)LOL
MPParticipantNC State was the better team today. Period.
MPParticipant“Tremendous defensive effort”
MPParticipantOr not!
MPParticipantNice play by Cat. Lacey is hurting us…
MPParticipantThat would have been daggerish if they had scored. Good job by us on D.
MPParticipantLucky on that one
MPParticipantCat is looking solid
MPParticipantSweet!
MPParticipantWTF was that bull rush?
MPParticipantNot a bad half. Other than shhitty free throw shooting.
MPParticipantWow, we’ll take that!
MPParticipantHideous shot by KW. Nice by Cat!
MPParticipant^ I think he’s our 4th outfielder “K.W. Thomson”. But Avent calls him “Kelvin”.
MPParticipantBut if you say “degrees Kelvin” I WILL END YOU.
LOL
MPParticipantBOTB – Ditto that. Winston-Salem native and agree with every bit of what you said.
MPParticipant^ That’s basically what I was getting at…
What results next year will be good enough?
MPParticipantBut it is totally his program, and he’s responsible for where his program is, and there should be a reckoning after the 2015-16 season. No excuses.
There is no doubt that he has earned next season. It is however unfortunate that we ‘know’ we will be entering a make-or-break season (whether DY sees it that way or not, 50%+ of fans will). Many or most of the people who look at next season as make-or-break are probably expecting “break”.
If we enter next season ‘knowing’ it’s make-or-break… What results are “make”? Hard to say ACCT title since conference depth makes that requirement a bit of a crapshoot. Sweet 16… Already been done, even Julius Hodge (oops I mean Sendek heehee) accomplished that.
We as a fanbase will probably enter next season expecting (‘requiring’) an Elite 8 or better. No pressure!
It would serve Gott well to show us all something special over the next 5+ weeks. I personally think that a good start would be reducing Turner’s minutes and starting Martin 14 or 15. Go for broke, invest in the future, higher upside in the current season. Hell maybe they’ll break through for an Elite 8 or better this season and we won’t have to worry about that whole make-or-break thing.

Dammmmmn! 🙂
Both teams are high on my most hated NFL team list. But no doubt the Pats are at the top….
MPParticipant^ BOTB, I too like the 1-3-1. I considered it when writing my post, but couldn’t get Da Asterisk’s offensive rebounding out of my head. Hence, the 2-3.
Does anyone know the relationship between various zone defenses and rebounding position / Boxing Out?
MPParticipantAs always against these bastards, a HUGE part of defending them will come down to rebounding. I wish we could use some zone, but I’m afraid of what will come out of it when they go to their offensive boards. If we zone I would consider 2-3 with Cat/Lacey on the wings looking at our starters. It may be best to utilize zone with Martin14 and/or Martin15 in the game.
So you GOTTa think man-to-man 75%+ of the game. What I WISH we would do is take advantage of our depth and trap the hell out of them on the perimeter (i.e. “a little of their own medicine”). But I’m not counting on it… Probably straight up MTM roughly by position. Can you consider anything other than Cat/Lacey on Paige/Tokoto…? That would appear to be our strongest defense.
MPParticipantIs this supposed to be a Main Page post? The full post is not showing up…
MPParticipantIs that today? 😉
Yeah… That’s me too 🙂
