Look, I don’t want to see Batts or Abu shoot the ball from farther than 5 feet. Also, Y7 is weak AF and will not stick around in the NBA. But given the horrid rules, he’ll leave this year and collect his checks. Really, players should be able to go out of HS, but if they go to college, be forced to stay 3 years. End rant.

Apparently, we’ve allowed 116 points in the paint in the last two games. I like KK and I am optimistic. But if we don’t change something with our defense over these last several games, we’re headed for the NIT quickly. We missed two huge opportunities last week against teams we could have beaten and that I truly believe we are better than. Our man-to-man has been exposed. It was sickening to watch them get so many easy layups. Really makes me doubt how much pride we actually take in our defense.
Here’s a novel idea. How about not running at the jump shooter behind the 3 point line! Two games in a row not playing basic defense. Can I retract my two week old endorsement of this coach or is it too soon!
This. A HUNDRED times this. You don’t need to leave your feet to contest a three. That’s some elementary school shiite. Our guys constantly get embarrassed that way. Either the guy nails the three, or he cuts inside. And you’re left looking like a fool. Don’t leave your effin’ feet; it’s not that hard.

We need stops to send this to OT. Any guy who isn’t committed to getting some stops, needs to sit TF down.
I don’t think I can watch State basketball anymore this season if we are going to continue to play man-to-man defense the way we do. We don’t defend layups.
Our rebounding, or lack thereof, is the reason we will lose this game. And we’re better than them. For once, we are better than them. Just kill me.
