Anya was WIDE open in the block and Lacey just ignored him. Either Lacey is selfish, doesn’t believe in Beejay, or he’s an incompetent PG. Can’t settle for perimeter play against the zone.
I’m certainly hoping for a stress-free victory. Got the Jack on hand in case things get ugly, though (so what if it’s early, it’s Saturday and I’ve got nowhere to go, sue me).
Also, College Gameday is in Crapel Hill today for the Dook-UNX bout. Anyone else notice they spent about 20 secs on the Sulaimon sexual assault allegations, while they spent 10 minutes on Boeheim/Cuse??

Gone as in transfer? Sometimes, I don’t think that’s a bad thing. But I hate how it reflects on Gott/our program. I’d rather he stayed and developed into a senior leader on our team.

Yea I think it dawned on me watching Gottfried’s post game with Julius the other night. “We’re gonna celebrate tonight”? I’m sorry, but what exactly are we celebrating? 8-7 in the ACC, still on the bubble looking in? Nothing’s gonna change in Raleigh until we stop celebrating victories over Duke and UNC. Maybe if I stop using unflattering nicknames for those teams and start treating them like any other team that we should just BEAT, just maybe we’ll actually start a culture of winning.
