MISTA WOLFParticipant
I want us to compete and I fully believe we can do that. If we compete, win or lose, I’ll be happy with the kids and the staff. If we come out with the deer in headlights look, I’ll be very dissapointed. I think we can hang, especially if we do something unorthodox on offense (gadgets, formations they’re not prepared for) and if we blitz and get pressure in their backfield. If we can hang for 3 quarters, anything can happen in the 4th. Cheers to Rivers and the Chargers for finishing one out last night.
MISTA WOLFParticipant3 yards and a cloud of dust is what we need vs. Clemson. If we can do that, along with controlling time of possession and winning the turnover battle, I think we can keep it close. I want us to win like anyone else does but most of all I want us to compete.
MISTA WOLFParticipantWe need to blitz, very dissapointed we didn’t blitz on the last 4th down. Make him throw, don’t let him run!
MISTA WOLFParticipantHey now, I was a fat boy. That’s where the game is won or lost π
MISTA WOLFParticipantGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOALLAHLAHLAHLLLLLLLLLLL!!! For real though, kudos to DD or whomever decided to go on with this game in the rain. It was definitely to our advantage. Cheers fellas. Got a half pint left π
MISTA WOLFParticipantDo you gentleman think it is in our favor if the field is saturated?
MISTA WOLFParticipantIf he plays ball like Curtis Staples, then we’re going to be alright.
MISTA WOLFParticipantI could see Les going to ND. Kelly’s a$$ is gra$$ too and I bet USC’s coach is shown the door as well. The belle of the ball is definitely Tom Herman, who will have his pick of the litter. I’d love to have Lincoln Riley, Brent Venables, Chad Morris or Rhett Lashlee. I’d actually rather Doeren get the job done, instead of standing on the sidelines with a look on his face that matches someone whose been through the Golden Corral buffet too many times. Ahhhhhhhhh… The meat sweats.
MISTA WOLFParticipantI’ve always been big into conspiracy theories and I truly believe their is a branch or department of the government that fuels race wars. Call me crazy. It wouldn’t be the first time.
MISTA WOLFParticipantit’s a me, me, me or I, I, I society. That’s the problem. Individual liberties are out of control. I saw a video a little while ago where a white male was getting the $hit beat out of him in a parking deck by many black males in Charlotte. It will get worse before it gets better. I’m actually afraid we will never recover.
MISTA WOLFParticipantThat’s the problem. I was born in 1983. All 3 teams glory days were before my day. My dad jokes that I was made the night we beat Houston.
MISTA WOLFParticipantIt sucks being a lifelong Wolfpack, Dolphins and Orioles fan. At least the O’s are hanging on for dear life. Dolphins and Wolfpack usually ruin my sports weekends. Lucky for me that I have a goldfish memory and tune in the next week π
MISTA WOLFParticipantI think he learnt his lesson. Sign him up. Do we get a petition going or what? I feel like were all equipped with pitch forks? Is that healthy? Damn my conscience.
MISTA WOLFParticipantWe got the #1 kicker coming to NC State next season. I $hit you not.
MISTA WOLFParticipantECU was 10 for 20 on 3rd and 4th down. That tells the whole story. You’re not going to be successful when the team you’re playing converts at a 50% rate. I’m beyond embarrassed.
MISTA WOLFParticipantIs it unethical to go after Art Briles. I have a piece of sheet rock to replace in the garage now….

MISTA WOLFParticipantI just got back from Mark Gottfried’s Basketball Team Camp. I’ve taken my kids down now for 3 years in a row and really enjoy it. The kids do too and its nice to see that chemistry build early in the summer. In years past the Pack basketball team has always been working. Not the case this year. I imagine they’re hard at work and getting geared up to travel across the ocean. I did get to talk to Frenchie for awhile and he more or less said he is a no go for the upcoming season, unless something magical happens. I’m stoked for Pack basketball just like you guys. I have also stepped back from the ledge. For now.
On a side note I did see Gottfried’s daughter. She’s quite a looker. If she could’ve read my mind, she’d slapped the sh!t out of me.
MISTA WOLFParticipantI was one of those guys. Now lets see what Gott can do with it.
MISTA WOLFParticipantCoastal Carolina, St. Mary’s and Navy. Very manageable regional.
MISTA WOLFParticipantSo were connected by the great county of Wilkes!! That’s actually my favorite song on the new album. I was confused the first time I heard it because of the transition. I’d like to go on record for being alright with eating a bag of mushrooms with SS. Or a hit of acid. Everyone dies but not everyone lives.
MISTA WOLFParticipantHe needs to shoot 500 free throws every day and about the same number of jumpers from 10-17 feet out
I think Abu and Anya β and therefore the team β will benefit from seeing the Euro/Seven approach in action.
I said that in another post. I think you are spot on. I also think Gott should start working Europe harder. Those bigs play a style of ball that fits the UCLA offense. They are better shooters, ball handlers, and passers than a lot of the U.S. bigs are today.
I’m with you a 100%. Either you recruit the type of guys to play your system or you change your coaching philosophy to fit the roster you have. Very simple. European players definitely fit the high post offense better because it is about spacing, understanding that spacing and playing inside out. I’m not saying our guys aren’t bright enough to run it, but I see a lot of one on one stuff each possession, with no off the ball movement from the other 4 players. It seems a lot of times that they have no clue what to do on offense unless the ball is in their hands.
05/19/2016 at 7:25 PM in reply to: NC State Basketball Scholarship Distribution & Discussion #103665MISTA WOLFParticipantShould we enjoy the moment and not worry about the future? Should we worry about the longetivity and the setup 3 years down the road? I understand both arguments because I’ve fit in to one of those categories over the last several years. Hell, I could die tomorrow so I’ll be happy with whats going on now π
MISTA WOLFParticipantI own all 3 of Sturgill Simpson’s albums. That dude is extremely talented even though his last album is meh. LRM mentioned the Troubadours. Those guys can play a sweet tune as well. Eric Strickland is pretty good and he is a NC boy from down east. Cody Jinks is worth listening to if you get the opportunity.
Anyone from Yadkin County?
MISTA WOLFParticipantIf Abu leaves then this season’s record will Les Robinson-ish (1992 or 1993). I think if he stays we have a chance to finish decent. The Martin twins leaving hurts us only for depth purposes. Yes we need depth, but i fully believe that depth will be filled by late signings (still some good players out there) or graduate transfers. Dorn and Henderson were going to take their spots anyways, so the writing on the wall was clear. Hell, they would’ve been in mop up duty anyways if Henderson wouldn’t have got hurt and Dorn could’ve played this past season. I’m bipolar when it comes to Wolfpack athletics.
