MISTA WOLFParticipantI coach at Reagan High School in Winston Salem. We play in a pretty athletic conference and we don’t get the athletes. Our approach is the “old school” way: v-cuts, L-cuts, Laker cuts, hedging on defense, ball switching sides on offense, etc. Things you don’t see in today’s game. It works well for us even though we struggled last season.
MISTA WOLFParticipantYeah, Kyle Washington transferred because of some things that wasn’t going his way. Seems it worked out for him. Kyle is averaging 16.3 ppg and 9.4 rpg up in Cincinnati and led his team to an upset win over Iowa State last night 🙂
MISTA WOLFParticipantThanks for sharing Phoenix. I plan on going and watching them when they come to Winston Salem. Take it you coach at some level or were well coached to throw out the term “v-cut.” Glad some team in our stable is being well coached in the arts of fundamentals 🙂
MISTA WOLFParticipantIt’s taken us 4 years to get a line on both sides of the ball, and make no mistake the D line is stout. Dalvin Cook only gained 65 on us. Clemson didn’t run over us either. Call me a softy, I just think the gloom and doom isn’t justified yet.
Amen, brother.
MISTA WOLFParticipantJust for the sake of argument I’d like a list of the coaches in the last 10 years that took over a lower to middling at best college OR PRO team and made them a winning program in 4 years.
Adam Gase is working out for us in Miami. It’s playoff games for us every Sunday from here on out, starting with Baltimore. Herman inherited a gold mine at Texas just like he inherited at Houston. They’ll scream he’s their savior after next season. Those 2 come to mind.
DD deserves another year. There is no reason for us to not win 9 regular season games. Anything less and we can happily say good riddance.
MISTA WOLFParticipantThe majority of people are tired of politicians. Tuesday’s results showed that.
MISTA WOLFParticipantRip Torn came to mind. God bless his soul.
MISTA WOLFParticipantDo you know the answer, BJD?
OK, off my soap box, there is a way out of the financial and football mess besides sticking it to the common man.
That’s life my friend. Now, anyone with high morals would want to fix something they obviously f’ed up but that’s not the way in a world that is controlled by money. Why do anything when you’re playing with money that’s not even yours?
MISTA WOLFParticipantWe got to much talent to be 4-4. Probably be the same thing I’m saying during basketball.
MISTA WOLFParticipantDoeren must win out to keep his job and that ain’t happening.
MISTA WOLFParticipantHerman will be at Texas and Petrino to LSU? Fleck won’t come to NC State. I do like his pedigree.
MISTA WOLFParticipantWhat’s the factor? Not that they’re better than us. Clemson is better than us but we punched in the mouth. That were hungover? That’s BS too.
MISTA WOLFParticipantThis is f*cking embarassing.
MISTA WOLFParticipantPlease, no excuses. I knew our guys didn’t possess the testicular fortitude to move on from last week.
MISTA WOLFParticipantHit Lamar early and hit him hard. He is nothing but a twig anyways. Go Pack!
MISTA WOLFParticipant30-8, we lose our elite 8 game to the national champion Kentucky Wildcats.

Definitely confused at why we didn’t try to score a touchdown in regulation. Whatever I guess. We will see what type of testicular fortitude we have next week against Louisville. Forget it and move forward trying to win the next one. Go Pack!

10/15/2016 at 12:48 PM in reply to: Show Us Where the Bad Howard's Rock Touched You Game Thread #108171MISTA WOLFParticipant^Amen brother. Were punching them in the mouth and I like it. So far we’ve been the aggressor. Proud of the 1st quarter, minus the dumb penalties.
10/15/2016 at 12:42 PM in reply to: Show Us Where the Bad Howard's Rock Touched You Game Thread #108165MISTA WOLFParticipantWe should be winning this game.

MISTA WOLFParticipantOn to Clemson and Death Valley, a place to where I will not return after 2008 and the most bizarre episode of my entire life. Let’s just say that it involved a well-known Alum, the Esso Club, a handgun, and whatever someone put in my drink.
This had me rolling. Very Hunter S. Thompson.
MISTA WOLFParticipantALL HAIL THE TROLL!!! You a gambling man?
Seriously though, I expected us to be 4-1 as well. I think we lose our next two but then I see us winning two out of the next three (watch us beat BC and FSU and lose to Q’s…) I still think we finish 7-5, God willing.
