I stand corrected.

McCallumParticipantYes let us give thanks for this win and not lament how we’d get a back handed compliment from the great one.
Respectfully submitted in this year of our Lord, 2015 AD (after dean)

Some of you must be rather difficult to deal with on a daily basis be it from straining ones eyes to gaze at you up on that high horse or the lines in the sand you refuse to cross.
They crapped on you for 30 years, cheated while doing so, insulted your intelligence, insulted your degree, all the while flying an invisible flag of hypocrisy. Now you want to sit in hushed silence while they get to tell you YET AGAIN how things are supposed to work in this world, who is good, proper, decent and up right. I will refuse to munch on that bag of rotten apples.
So we will see how unc performs now that the special insurance program set up by el deano slowly comes apart.
That be it homies, sorry I broke some of you down with the Ginger Lynn comment.
My drama meter needs batteries but I lost them when I there threw them at Jeff McInnis for flipping off the Reynolds crowd back in the early 90s.

Blah, blah.

Much of your misery in basketball is a by product of the damn cheating in chapel hill. The cheating did not simply sprout like some spotted spurge in a side walk crack. You now want to forgive and forget despite getting pounded year in and year out by a bunch of hypocrites.
Things ain’t what we are always told: Nixon lied, Ginger Lynn faked and el deano cheated.

Mercy, to that crowd of louts?

Just think back to all the lectures on how some people are without sin, wrong doing or cheating.

Someone sold their soul for the folly of earthly glory and now the bill is to be paid.
SUCK IT heals.

Leaders are not cultivated, they are or they ain’t.
If an organization is crappy it keeps them from moving up hence the status of the organization.

McCallumParticipantBoys, just bag it and hit the couch. Your cold mid-winter nights can be joyous concerning basketball if you’ll just load up on Jimmy Chitwood, Merle, Ray, and the rest of the Hickory Huskers. Good defense, nice passing, screen upon screen which amount to an X and O mindset akin to the ceiling of some chapel in Rome, fiery fans-fight songs minus all the rancid consumerism hauled South by the best the Chamber of Commerce from Tom’s River could send to Raleigh………….all that awaits you MINUS THE GRIEF if you will just turn on AMC.
As for me, I’ll be praying for a tar heal defeat, cold Milwaukee’s Best Light will be in the fridge and a calm assurance will surround me in the knowledge that I will be in a good mood no matter the outcome.

I’d rather see pictures of them in front of the old beer joint in Windblow NC knocking down pickled eggs.

McCallumParticipantIs he any good?
True talent can not be denied. Were he all that and a bag of chips then Princeton would have walked off with a state title or gotten beyond round 3 of the playoffs (cue up the response they got to the 4th round thus missing the point twice).
Ted Brown was a talent, he carried HP Andrews to a state title. Richmond County folks will tell you he was out of bounds but that misses the point. TA McClendon was a talent, Albemarle ran away with it behind McClendon. Keith Marshall couldn’t get Millbrook a conference title or out of the first round of the playoffs yet he was ranked better than Gurley who took Tarboro to a title.
I hope he scores 500 touchdowns and takes a dump in the dean done but these rankings are fo da birds.

01/18/2015 at 6:40 PM in reply to: Technician Let’s Us Down: “No Daily Tar Hell”. Students Respond #70366McCallumParticipantNo less complex than today. The problem is the endless layering of Orwellian thought control which is advanced under the non-sense of tolerance and diversity.
I’ll never forget a bunch of guys from Owen leaving Jeff Lesbo ( Lebo) 20 messages on his answering machine the night before the game in Reynolds then taunting him about it all game from the front row.
McCallum.
01/18/2015 at 3:02 PM in reply to: Technician Let’s Us Down: “No Daily Tar Hell”. Students Respond #70339McCallumParticipantPolitically correct, stupid, uncreative and lazy would describe the Tech. folks.
I recall a few issues called the Dainty tar hole, of course that was dropped in fear of the sodomites.
How many of you recall the Miss Moo U pagent?
Banned as sexist in 89 at a school which was 68% male.
I had a fraternity brother entered under the name of Sofonda Peters.
Peace out

McCallumParticipantI must admit that I always saw the inner beauty of Summer Erb.

McCallumParticipantIs Frasier any good?
Were he all that IMO then Princeton (which is not the same as Princeville) should have won the state title going away. True 5 star talent can not be denied.
You will be hearing a great deal about a 5 star lineman out of Stephens County Georgia named Ben Cleveland. 6’7″ 322 lbs, the guy is not fat at all, big boned with great flexibility. Already committed to UGA, nice young man and still a junior.
Biggest puddin you will ever meet. Soft with zero aggression, his playing time was cut during the season.
Yet he is a 5 star.

12/29/2014 at 7:48 PM in reply to: While The Wolfpack Basks In Victory, UNC Players Are Calling Each Other Out #67294McCallumParticipantA few items:
1) Thanks to Alpha for writing the piece.
2) I’m not poo pooing the victories.
3) I’m not into hypotheticals.
4) Making the holes a measuring stick for success de facto elevates their program despite reality.
5) State will get better by good coaching, decent recruiting, low transfer numbers and plenty of red shirting.
The reality of State football is below average, having four other D1 schools in the state does nothing to grow the fan base.
Suck it up boys, you picked a hard row to plow.

What is the name of that big river in Egypt?
McCallum
12/28/2014 at 6:39 PM in reply to: While The Wolfpack Basks In Victory, UNC Players Are Calling Each Other Out #67235McCallumParticipantYou have yet to realize that I refuse to credit chapel hill with anything other than cheating. It is on the DNA of some folks to drag chapel hill into anything regarding State.
I’ve taken nothing away nor have I granted likewise.
But since we are comparing to the year before, which is valid, then let us run this race back to the start. If that be the case, minus any balance provided for by the heals, then I’d say the year was a smashing success since State is sub .500 in football lifetime
But if you are missing than then let me suggest the concept of n=1.
McCallum
McCallumParticipantI’m not sure State College was challenging enough for Hines especially when you view the “brain surgeons” he was surrounded by on a daily basis.
Just think though about the tremendously beautiful and smart lass he will hook in the next few years. No doubt her connections will be without limit, he’ll be dealing with serious folks up in New Haven. It boggles the mind to think about the DNA that will be created by Bo and the future Mrs. Hines up in New Haven.
I’m wondering how all the State alumni in Haywood County will pronounce Bo’s new school.
Yell or Ya’ell.
