If “win” off the court = score I think Lover Boy “wins” often.
He couldn’t coach the 85 Bears how to play defense.

The only thing close to his love of Summer Erb is his knowledge of soils and fertility.
He did write a book years ago, “Best Hardees Franchises of North Carolina-A Journey from Beargrass to Salisbury” so he is a man of all seasons.

On line soil map will take you from there.
And FYFI: I might live in Georgia, deal with their inability to stop at STOP signs, eat their rancid ham based BBQ, listen to how great the Dawgs are but I’m from the flint rock hills of the piedmont.

If the material met 503 regulations as a lime stabilized material then that would account for the high pH and the Calcium being elevated.
BTW: municipal wastes are fine materials to use as a liming agent or fertilizer source. Different industries or cities meet federal and state criteria in different ways though all are legal, safe and regulated.
It would also be nice to know the amount you picked up, 8 ton load, pickup truck, 3 yard loader full, tater sack.

McCallumParticipantA buddy of mine called the other night. He lives in Fresno California and works in international wine sales. He’s been dating Elle McPherson for a couple of months, says she is very kind, a really nice lady but has chronic gas. I asked where he met her and just so happens Elle enjoys parlor bingo. Mind you, he said she slides her body into old jeans(and he said she is really well built, hubba-hubba), throws on a t-shirt and tennis shoes: really wants to go into the run down places around Henderson, Nevada. He happened to be in Reno one night, floated over to Henderson, went into the Eldorado and met Elle.
So he joins her one night. Met up in LA then drove over, evidently she likes boiled peanuts so they stopped and picked a few up near the state line. Just so happens a guy is selling boiled peanuts just off Interstate 15 as you cross into Nevada. Elle, buddy calls her E, starts up a conversation and they find out the guy is from Dawsonville Georgia and his grandfather fixed transmissions for Bill Elliot in the 80’s but now works for Wendell Murphy.
The guy tells E that his grandfather says Wendell really likes Archie but is worried about his history of bad investments especially in the Stoffers company. She said the guy motioned her over after giving her a bag of nuts and showed her a picture of Wendell and his grandfather outside of the Foxy Lady back in 1998. Buddy says E is really talking it up with the guy and mentions something about her boy friend graduating from State and the guy clams up.
So hard for me to say guys. You hear all kinds of crazy stories but my buddy says his is on the money and yes, he is tapping it a couple of times per week. He says she is really tall and has made mention of a rope and a 2×4 so he doesn’t fall in.

McCallumParticipantLong time poster, formér model now I do stand up comedy in Bulgaria for American ex-pats specializing in non dairy creamers.
I was just finishing a routine in Ruse and the horse and cart pulled up to the hotel. I jumped in and saw and old man wearing a Chicago Bulls jersey from the mid 90s, his wife who was rather large and five kids. The eldest daughter was beautiful, the rest of the kids were odd and I noticed the youngest boy had on a unc jersey. I tried to strike up a conversation but all I heard was “no English speak” so I smiled and nodded. After about 5 minutes on the cobble stones the youngest boy says, “you from Amerika?”. Excited I said, ‘yes!’
Youngest boy in unc jersey: “you know basketball, unc tar heals?”
Me: “yes, I’m from North Carolina but I don’t like the tar heals”
Yb: “you dook?”
Me: “no like dook ”
Yb: “the wake forest…..how you say….demon deacons?”
Me: “no, I really hate the deacons”
Yb(now in perfect English): “oh, you must like NC State. They’ll phuck up their coaching search like they screw up everything else.”
Later that evening while drinking a few cold Zagorka’s I realized the honesty and truth all children possess.

McCallumParticipantThe “deep state”?
Many things, a few things.
The people that pushed the US into Vietnam after the false Gulf of Tonkin incident and applauded WMD’s. It is elite, global, not favorable to peaceful living, war profiteers, etc.
They would have the poor classes of North Carolina dying in Iraq, South Ossetia, or Estonia while their children live large at Georgetown, Princeton, Harvard, Brown etc. They are scum and deserve scorn.
Pat Buchanan has long known and opposes them:

McCallum
McCallumParticipantWhoever has broken one point in the Law has broken the entire Law. Hard to grasp but that wasn’t my own thought, I read it somewhere. We assign ‘value’ He does not.
The difficulty here is the measure of the human heart. Simply adding layers of legality does nothing to improve the human condition. It can only be found through a willing person who acknowledges their condition and position before God.
Jesus saw the empty nature of guilt in the Jewish communities. An endless number of steps (613 to be precise) to be in line with God yet still no assurance that you were in God’s graces. What we see (and have seen) in our society is a return to the Mosaic Law in so many ways from hyper litigation in all things to the maze of dietary fades(look at me, I just bought cage free eggs here in my recycled bag and I’m driving them home in my Prius, Shalom). I submit that many of the depression issues in our society, much of which has a genetic basis, are actually based in guilt and the rejection of confession and repentance in favor of the therapists couch.
Oh and if McCallum wants to dress up what’s the harm? Both views are right ‘come as you are and leave different’ and ‘the worshipers offer their first fruits’ (i.e. their best for those in faison).
I believe we should work by our faith and through our faith to make this world a beautiful place. There are enough damn slobs in the world, put on some clothes when you go to church and show some respect for the Lord’s house. I never said you are getting extra points but it does INDICATE a hierarchy in society and that the church just might be a bit more important than driving down to the Wal-Mart.
Americans, and I use the term broadly because anyone can be an “American” now, are the biggest bunch of slobs, dorks and doofuses the world has ever encountered. How awful it must be that someone might burden those on the “shining city on a hill”, that they might need do something from time to time that takes them outside of their jorts and t-shirts mental and physical state.
McCallum
McCallumParticipantA man can put a coat and tie on at least once/week.
Not me, I’m pretty sure my “appearance” is not what The Almighty cares about, it’s the innards. I’m thinking just having on a coat and tie won’t get ya in.
If you want to read a really good book pick up a copy of “Tender Warrior” by Stu Meber. We have a small group doing a study on it. It’s the second best book I’ve ever read (it should be obvious what the best book is). I’ve cried my way through more than a few chapters. I wish I had read that book 30 years ago, I may have avoided making some of the mistakes I made along the way. At any rate it is special reading for any man at any age.
WHOA!!! Hold the hell on here.
1) A man can show respect for the Lord’s house by wearing something OTHER than what he shuffles about in during the week. I was raised in a pulp wood cutting, textile mill attending Pentecostal church and the men wore coat and tie. There was no hierarchy. You are in a sacred place, find something better than a golf shirt and some jeans.
2) no crying ever. If you do it, do so in solitude away from others and don’t tell anyone. If we are going to turn this damn world around and get the women back in line we’ve got to have some balls.
I can sense reflection on your part and the emotional aspect of repentance, all good but easy on the estrogen.
THECowdog,
I hope you are a pre Vatican II Catholic.
bill,
Careful, you are straying away from Trinitarian values.

McCallumParticipantThe only “let down” is the lack of coaching on one bench.

McCallumParticipantAll I’m gonna say is … GOD loves ALL his people….
But if ya’ll know a church with conservative theology that starts and ends with the Sovereignty of GOD, a polity that requires the members to run the local Church not the Pastor or Corporate, and participatory worship that brings diverse people together for one purpose mixed with High Church on occasion…
Please define “diverse”.
High church today, high church tomorrow, and high church forever. A man can put a coat and tie on at least once/week.

McCallumParticipant2 things:
I hope that Presbyterian was PCA and not USA. If its USA then you should be “all-in” on the LBGT thing! Besides, the Holy Ghost would have struck you dead for mentioning P-USA and Pentecostal in the same sentence!
If you were raised Pentecostal and P-USA its no wonder your’re such a tortured soul!2nd thing:
I hope by lawn darts you are referring to *REAL* lawn darts, the kind that were 14? long, had a weight and a 3? spike on the end! Not these badminton cocks on steroids they try to pass off as lawn darts today.
First they try to pass of badminton cocks as lawn darts then they try to convince boys its OK if they feel like going to the womens john! Poor kids don’t stand a chance.1)There was no USA PCA when I was hatched. The northern and Southern branches united in 1983 with the northern branch bringing empty pews and heretical ideas. The Southern branch brought faith, money, a fighting spirit and people. The PC USA is a bunch of women and puss.ies.
Growing up in the piedmont borderlands the Presbyterian Church had little impact but the southern end of Montgomery County is where the Cape Fear Highlanders stopped so the Presbyterian influence, socially ridged-conservative, is strong there all the way to Wilmington. Pentecostals are strong throughout the piedmont so I grew up in the Pentecostal church but with reformed Presbyterian ideals.
2) yes, I play with the “killers”.
McCallum
McCallumParticipantIt is not a rivalry if one teams loses most of the time.
