There were so few women at State I considered them to be about as numerous as 24 women in a box.

How about I plant a foot in your backsides?

This white man has been busy. Beyond the typical 10 to 15 letters a week to the Huffington Post, I’ve been studying French and writing a book on Julius Chambers and the heirs to his legacy who just had a gun battle on the Grand Strand at Myrtle Beach.

I don’t need to plant a garden to feel good about myself. After all, I use recycled, recycled paper bags to dispose of my recycled biodegradable eco-friendly caffeine free herbal tea from Yusihi China which was voted least town to succeed in all of China.

McCallum, was that Milan Georgia or Milan Missouri?

We all know you have never left the North American continent. And really Canada is just Northern US.

    Neither you smart mouth.

It was Milan Indiana, the town whose 1954 title run in basketball inspired Hoosiers.

Of course beyond the modeling gig up there I stacked lumber for a year or two which is considered skilled labor in Mexico.

When I was a freshman at State, after modeling in Milan for 10 months, the 14 girls on campus tried to grope me all the time.

    Bilas is an attorney.

That aside, this is classic depends on what the definition of ” is is”.

After lecturing the world on their special mission, noble goals and lofty expectations they are showing all the bluster of the “carolina way” was just bluster.

One big ol’ minstrel show since 1990.

Demi Moore was in Blame It.

The Johnson girl played the 17 year old vixen very well. She was dogged for her terrible acting but she had the clueless, horny young lass down pat. Never been a Michael Caine fan, I really hated Alfie. It appears Blame It went straight to cable back in the day since it stunk.

Good day to watch it though. I cooked 350 halves of chicken today, lit the coals at 5:25, smoked and dipped then from 6:00 til 12:15.

Currently drinking a stove pipe Budweiser and watching LSU vs Miss St.

    Word up homies.

    Two points:

    1) I had an experienced left fielder attempt to throw the ball to 1st base yesterday.

    2) You will never build a fence or a wall around North Carolina on recruiting.

The first point is a reflection of coaching. Despite all the practice and all the instruction at a critical point in the game my left fielder went off the reservation. Somewhere I failed to instill a basic mental toughness and situational decorum so despite having a good team with talent my boys play right at the level of their competition.

The second point concerns the excess number of D-1 programs, the numerous fan bases, the presence of very good other revenue sports (basketball), and the fact that other states that come here to recruit lack all of the aforementioned items.

Only one player to hit the homerun cycle in all of pro-ball and that was Tyrone Horne of Troy, NC.

He wasn’t even in the top 3 baseball players in the County his junior or senior years.

The is no moment of weakness for me as it concerns seriousness. The front 7 on defense should be strong, some of the best in the conference. The offense has experience and skill.

Now if Dapper Dave and company can figure out how to get long and wide against teams like BC then goody goody.

I’m betting on historical regression to the mean.

    And a question:

    Why don’t Episcopalians play chess?

They can’t tell the difference between a bishop and a queen.

State doesn’t have overall worse or better players than it did 20 years ago or 30 years ago if you are measuring by end of line performance. In fact bumps in talent, actualized by NFL success or drafting, hasn’t done much to bump State’s performance by much at all.

There is some talent there which was put in place by the current staff but as I said, there is nothing special on the sidelines or the press box.

On field performance gives witness to my position and until State consistently moves beyond 6-5,5-6,7-4,3-8,4-7 then no stated position or line of reasoning matters.

Everyone has reason to believe they will good, emotion and attachment in themselves cause that.

I believe nothing otherwise until I’m shown evidence of concrete, objective proof.

    That means Ws and Ls.

    George McDonald?

Didn’t he invent a new type of handle for the Kohler faucet?

Nothing special roaming the sidelines or press box in Raleigh.

Standard middle of the road bunch, they put in their hours but so does everyone else. If they are “special” it should have shown itself by now.

If they struggle or lose to SC then get ready for the classic 6-5 to 5-6 finish, 3-5 in conference.

    The breakout:

O line- significant returning players with lots of snaps. Question mark at center

Te- does State throw to the TE?

wideouts-depth and some talent. Harmon and Louis, nice combination.

Running backs-Samuels and Hines in space, Gallaspy in gaps

    QB-experience and options

Not displeased with that side of the ball

D line-should be loaded. Talent and lots of depth, ability to continuously rotate quality throughout the game.

Linebackers-Moore and Fernandez both solid and decent, nothing off charts but not an issue

D backs-limited experience with some holes. Strong effort by d line should take some pressure off them

    Kicking-punter excellent, automatic 3 points ain’t happening

    Coaching- no faith

Just knocking back some coffee and cold chillin’.

I’ve taken interest in the comments of Rick Gunn. I’m rolling around some Doug Kenneyish type of response to how Rick missed the actions of unc these last 25 years which are nearly as apparent the small face on his large nose.

Baseball season in full swing as well.

    Peace out
