    Louisville by at least 20.

State flubs the 1st half, down by 21 at half. Nice 3rd quarter and narrows it to 13 points. Late pick by Louisville seals the deal, 41-20.

All the stars are lining up with “hope” abounding and reports of NC State stupidity and cheapness gaining strength.

    Carry on.

    1) don’t turn the ball over

    2) keep their QB in the pocket

    3) don’t lose the kicking game

    4) run the ball

Just win baby and some of you need to back off the koolaid.

Beer sales would be a massive mistake.

You’d have another type of “pass outs” with a round or two of violence.

    A non issue.

Maybe some black kid from the inner city could make it big at NC State and set up some programs for emotionally at risk State fans. This could help the plight of the largely white and affluent fan base at NC State as it attempts to rationalize a history of bad coaching hires and how keeping people in their seats during half time would change the trajectory of the program.

There’s not a shovel big enough for the above.

Just pointing out that if racial solidarity is good for one group then you should be willing to accept it for all groups. You can not allow it for some and then not for others.

If you don’t like it then tough but people notice the hypocrisy.

Nothing short of diving in front of bullets would satisfy you.

    Take a Midol.

My point is that the big talk is just that. If they hauled their a$$es into the war zone they’d know what would happen. Very convient to blame the police for attempting to control crime and violence in a segment of the country where crime and violence are the normal.

    Kaepernick is incredibly charitable.

I don’t give a damn what he does or does with his money. I
pointed out the irony that a half breed like him, that was raised by whites in an all white area, would decry police brutality.

It is still funny as hell.

He is looking for an identity so let’s hope he finds it. He appears to now have plenty of time on his hands so he can use his money and his hands. I expect once he gets a good look at the culture the police deal with daily he’ll quietly slip away.

I could care less if they stand, sit, crawl or sh.it. I stand before games, remove a hat if wearing one but never face the flag nor do I sing. Too much bad stuff done in the name of freedom and that extends to Lincoln’s War which destroyed the constitution to invading a high school in Little Rock 60 years ago with the 101st Airborne to attacking countries that did not attack us to exporting pornography and other bulls.hit “freedoms”.

And one last thing, give those alms in silence. If you are going to let it be known tell us the % that goes to administrative costs and how much you are writing off through taxes or a trust.

No, ATroll, it’s not different pages…it’s different wavelengths. Different planets. Different races. Different life experiences. So much untruth in what you say here and then you speak of absolute truth? Many blacks of all walks of life, including NFL players and most certainly some of NC State’s black athletes, are simply tired of seeing unarmed black men being shot and killed by police even when they may be INNOCENT, even when they OBEY the officer’s commands. Many whites are also protesting this. If you think this is not happening, you are either not paying attention or some bias within you blinds you to this ABSOLUTE FACT.
The protesting players are doing so in a respectful manner. You may not like it but you should be able to understand the need they feel to do SOMETHING to shine a light on racial inequity under the law, and kneeling instead of standing for the National Anthem is a way of making that statement. You want to protest this inequity another way? What do you suggest?
I think their protest is valid and on point and I support them in it. Those standing and those kneeling are all Americans and all of them are exercising their rights.

    Good enough.

I like the racial identity and racial unity aspect of their stance. I like it so much that other groups should respond in kind more racial unity in the face of offenses like the interracial rape issue (oh no, can’t speak about that!). It is a good thing these people protesting against the police (and let’s say it, white police) stand on racial unity while at the same time ignoring the rampant murder within the own community. Their “stand” (pun intended) is low hanging fruit or high cotton if you want to be provocative because if they had to drag their sorry black (and white two) a$$es back into the war zone known as the ghetto, the hood, etc to take a “stand” against the shooting of blacks they’d get shot, would be a waste of time or would require more time than 45 seconds during pre-game.

The great irony of this “protest”, and damn funny too, is that is was started by a mulatto raised in a white community whose entire interaction with ANY black community started in the last decade.

So racial unity and solidarity for all groups and that includes the whites.

Let’s see how it works out.

Pass outs can be done in Raleigh because EVERYONE PARKS SO DAM.N close. Everyone parking so close makes leaving hell.

Leaving and coming back is near to impossible at most schools.

Beyond that, don’t give the dummies in Raleigh any dumb ideas. If I buy season tickets or a ticket you aren’t about to tell me I can not walk out at halftime to play parcheesi.

Alt-right nazis who ran down a woman = fine people
Mostly black athletes kneeling for the national anthem = sons of bitches

    Nothing racial there.

Thank you for proving my point. I like how you shifted words to change what was said and what was meant.

What did Heather Heyer die from pakfanistan? I don’t know and assuming might be an error. You say she was “run down” and I’m asking you prove it. Her mother said she died from a heart attack.

Let’s look at the narrative if you have the time.

I believe the Trump statement in taking a knee started with “wouldn’t you like”.

Pretty tame stuff, media took it from there.

I absolutely love the racial angle being applied by the media. It falls nicely into the conventional wisdom on issues of race and that says “blacks innocent and good, whites oppressive and bad”. Everyday they grind that axe the more people have the veil pulled back.

But a look at race issues in South America:

    Looking Southward

Now we know only mighty whitey beats the race drum. An ex-president would never say “the police acted stupidly” without knowing the facts of the case.

It is disrespectful to the flag and to the nation. The flag and patriotism is all we have binding us together. If you think of yourself as black, African, white, Asian, Hispanic, LBGT or whatever BEFORE you think of yourself as an American, that’s part of the problem. Unfortunately that is exactly what the left wants to do, divide. Good on Trump for calling a spade a spade. MAGA!

    Completely wrong and fully ideological.

Being American should be LAST on anyone’s list. It is the furthest distance from any true/organic meaning. It is the furthest from faith, family, community and land.

Troll, you can only be so dense. The flag is a contrived symbol. The protest is about Injustice in this nation. Not standing for the anthem is communicating a protest about Injustice. The flag is just the tool. Think.

I just keep thinking about the crime rates.

And I think about all the upheaval in the education systems from state to state that have even a smidgen of “diversity”.

I think of out of wedlock birth rates at 73%.

I think of infant like mental capacity whereby one word reduces the “oppressed” to fear and tears through one word while songs of “mutha,uc&er” this and that are applauded.

I think of my cousin shot dead after hours in his office in Greensboro by an oppressed “youf”.

I think of a farmer down here whose wife was raped, eye cut out and left for dead on the side of the road when I hear about this crusade for justice in the NFL.

I think I’ll have “the talk” with my kids. I think they are of the age or getting close. I think I don’t want them to become a victim or a statistic. I think I love them so much that I will arm them for interacting in this world. I think they should know what is the real world out in the land of milk and honey. I think they should know there are two sides to every story, maybe even 3, 4 or more.

That is a good bit to think about.

I think about the Detroit riots of 67 starting after the clergy in certain sections of town REQUESTED police to shut down all the after hours liquor joints.

I think I like free speech.

And lastly….I think I’ll have more coffee.

Thanks rthomas for all this THOUGHT you provoked.

Haven’t watched the NFL and NBA for years and I have largely stopped watching major revenue college sports.

Good and bad do run along side together.

The problem, to up end your undertones, is that it is not represented in equal parts.

Kind of like crime rates in communities.

Speaking of brain damage, I was at the uga/Miss State game.

Georgia has the dumbest bunch of idiot fans I’ve ever seen. Odd combination of metrosexual Atlanta cosmopolitans/dumb local yokel slack jawed high school dropout mixed with rap music. The section I was in (133) complains about every call and every play.

I’d like to see Florida beat them so 90% of the people in the state heads would explode.
