Hopefully we start out on the right track, and put them away early. If so, you can expect most of the holes fans to head to the exits. like they always do when they are getting beat at home. And we can enjoy a sea of red.

Back on track vs. St Joes. Now to get back home, and get Rowan, and Kapita back on the court. Basketball should turn out much better than the enduring football season.

So much for a good outing by the basketball team. Blasted by Creighton, not much defense vs the 3s, and Anya has to be the laziest basketball player there ever was. All that wing span, and height, and plays pathetically. But then we were missing some key elements to our offense.

Maybe we should look at some former coaches” sons. Holtz or Kiffin? Somebody who is more aggressive.

Well if we have to take another year, then DD needs to make some more changes. Special teams and defensive coaches, need improvements. Huxtable could have went out with Canada last year. And maybe we contract Dr. Phil for a once a week session, as the mental aspects of the game seem to plague us every week.

No more excuses. Team must be bipolar. Same stupid, costly mistakes, week after week, and we continue to digress. Finally feeling the time for DD needs to come to an end. Horrible in conference record, and we are in year 4. But if change is coming, then please don’t waste money on a coach that is not proven at this level. We deserve better with the facilities we have. Losing is getting very old. Even if we show up Friday, and win. Change is needed. DD is a nice guy, but seems to be in over his head.

Well we have headed to the HVAC Dome, and took care of the Cuse. Now time to blog on the last home game vs. the Canes. Senior Day, and the chance to go 3-4 in the ACC, before heading to smurf land. post Thanksgiving day. Go Pack, and downgrade this hurricane back to Florida!

21-10 at half would sure have been nice. Stupid int in the endzone. Gotta pick up from where we left off, hopefully Finley in
    to pass.

So we let Clemson off the hook in Death Valley, now we play Syracuse who lost 54-0 to the tigers. Here is hoping the right team shows up from here on out. The remaining schedule is favorable. Even with the holes, as the coastal is weak, as the holes were trounced by vt, who lost to syracuse. Guess we will see, I am looking for a victory next week, as long as Bambard is not kicking. Win out and we are 4-4 in the ACC, and 7-5 overall, Doeren off the hot seat, and again with pretty much the same team returning next year

This disinterest in NC State football is quite obvious, with no blog for the fsu game. No blowout as many expected, but again another that gets away. Bambard makes earlier fg miss, a fg wins game, and the dropped int in the endzone, only to see fsu score on the next pass. Except for the Louisville, game. little things have killed us, though we did turn our penalties, into one tonight. Guys seem to have the mindset of here we go again. Not trying to hate on Doeren, but this is getting old. Better win the rest. And next year we return, pretty much the whole squad, with only a few seniors. Bad enough we had to put up with obnoxious fsu fans who never sat the whole game, and had the nerve to talk trash. Sure would have been nice to have that int, and win. But we didn’t.

As they say you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink it. Coach leads, but can’t make them do the obvious. He said they have gone over the alignment on the line numerous times. So the player wasn’t following thru, on what had been coached by the staff. Not saying I am in DDs corner. But will see what happens from here on out. If it is a downward spiral, then I say change is needed. We will see what happens tonight vs. FSU. Go Pack!

Heard Steve Logan on the radio. Must agree, we lose to BC on homecoming, when a bonehead lines up in the wrong spot, and lose a TD. And then to end it, the WR had no clue what the play was, when Finley called a fade route, and the ball intercepted, and this is DDs fault? The guys gotta get their heads in the game.

As for DY, I think all the opinions are based on football, and not on the state of the overall athletic department. So I say she keeps her job. As for football, whether coaching or players, except for the Louisville game, we could have won all the rest, and looking good right now. But unfortunately we didn’t. But it is the little things that are keeping us from winning, and this far into the season, it has to stop. Way to many costly penalties, averaging over 100+ yards the last several games. That can’t happen. I truly believe we can win out, but if we continue the current effort it won’t happen. The staff and players gotta step it up, and get over the Clemson loss. Go Pack!

FYI, so we lost to Clemson on their homecoming, with a missed FG. Yet this same BC team, we lost to today, were given the beat down @ BC, by Clemson, with a score of 56-10. WTF?????

Heard Chubb in the post game. Are these guys still living in the loss to Clemson? We played like crap today, and got beat. And as excited as I was about the new OC/Drinkwitz, he lost me today. Game on the line and we call two running plays up the middle to score, when we have been unsuccessful there all day. Then to end it all, Finley, in Clemson fashion, throws a pick in the endzone. We sucked and lost on homecoming against a lowly BC team, with a 12 game ACC losing streak. The coaches did not prep this team for today, and that falls on DD. Beginning to seriously consider thoughts of a change, or else we hire a psychiatrist to get in the heads of our players, who are clearly, living in the past, with the Clemson loss. The team that played the last 2 weeks, could never hang with Clemson, or beat ND. Who knows who will show up next week. I sure haven’t got a clue.

Regardless of who played vs. Louisvile, either we had hangover from the Clemson loss, or overconfident on defense with all the talk they were getting. Seemed to settle down in the second half, but unfortunately the hole was too deep to get out of. Hopefully the guys learned from their poor mental state, and will never go there again. Got to play our best regardless of the opposition. Hopefully we see that vs BC. I think the guys were pretty embarrassed after the UL loss.

Shoulda beat Clemson, got embarrassed by Louisville. Regardless of the final score, they are both Ls in the loss column. But then we were expected to lose those 2 anyway. What we do from here on is gonna show us where we are headed.

9-3 is possible for us, though not probable. But to accomplish that tall order, we have to show up for every game from here on out, from beginning to the end. We, as the coach stated, are better than what we showed vs the ville. Just gotta get back on track, and I honestly believe we will. Here’s hoping my optimism pays off.

Today was ugly, at least the first half. Only game we haven’t been in, with no chance to win. Just have to put it behind us, and show up the rest of the season, forgetting what the media says about us. One game at a time, and not forgetting, we are undefeated at home. Go Pack!
