Great first half, now match it in the second, or do better and this one is in the books. And who said we had no chance against this team? Really?????
I will be opimistic, and hope they may have finally learned their lesson, and realize they have to be good from here on out, or the season is over. Guess we will know after the game.
After the last Duke game, I hope the bad Wolfpack has been shelved for the rest of the season. If we bring our A game, we can go far. Go Pack!
It is okay, if we the fans take Villanova lightly, with our comments, as long as the team don’t do that, and come out of the gates with fire. Can’t see us coming back from a large deficit against Nova! Go Pack!
Wufpacker you are welcome to dwell on those negative 35 minutes, but as for me, I will dwell on the last few seconds, in which we won the game. Better to have played bad and won, than good and lost. Go Pack!

If we do win our first round game, and it is anything like the Pitt win, the players should be banned from any media accolades. I truly think they had that problem when they played Duke in the ACC tourney. I heard what they were saying about giving Duke a good game, and how great Barber/Lacey were in the back court, and we see what they did against Duke. Just don’t know how to let it go in one ear and out the other. Previous wins don’t determine future wins. Showing up does.
Sold my ticket to the championship game to a uva fan, figuring the holes would pull it out. I was wrong, and regret not being there, to see their reactions, since they are always so loud and obnoxious. Congrats to my ABC team (anybody but carolina).
After the BC loss, then the Duke loss, I trust the bad team will be locked away for good, if we wanna get anywhere. The media did us no favors with the accolades heaped upon us after the Pitt win. I think that was a major factor in the loss last night. Time to move onn and start a new winning streak.
If there can be any positives from the game, I would say, we won the second half, though a little too late.
Ugly as it was, it is over, and time to move on. The guys may have gotten a little overconfident after the Pitt game, especially Lacey/Barber, with 4 and 0 points respectively, after their great games against Pitt. Hope one day they will learn to show up for every game. There are no givens. Time to make a run in the big dance now.
We gotta keep on moving on, but Turner could definitely make a difference, and hope he is in the groove. The defense has been outstanding the last several games.
Our late season defensive improvement has elevated our game, and if the offense can follow the same trek, we should fair well. Love to be in the coliseum, watching the Pack play for the ACC championship. But again one game at a time. Beat Pitt!
Saturday was a banner day for Wolfpack Nation. Basketball, Softball, and Baseball, all win. Go Pack! Maybe a banner weekend is in store for all.
Get to the dance, and take them one game at a time. Worry about Kentucky, when and if we get to play them. But even then, what was Houston in 1983? These guys can be beat, if we don’t play their game. They had some close calls this year, and probably a conference that isn’t that great in BB this year. But for now dance, and take them one at a time, whomever it may be.

Attended the game. Absolutely awesome. Defense has really been on, the last several games, and the offense seem to kick in the second half. And can’t help but be reminded of all the negative comments about Gott. Way to go Coach, when your team follows the game plan. Now the ACC tourney!
This year in the ACC has proven to be unpredictable. So maybe the hokies can pull it off. But our job is to win our game against Syracuse, then see what happens. Go Pack!
Win this, no thanks to Trevor Lacey. Where are you? Better show up Saturday. But it is a win nevertheless. Not pretty!
Whether you blame the coach, or the players, we need to win the next two, and could even finish in 6th place, which is something preseason predictions never gave a chance at, much less the possiblity of making the NCAAs. And a note on the women’s game, they only lost by 7 to ND, while shooting like the men have lately, 38%. And I also recall, we played pathetically in the 1st half vs Clemson, at home, then finally showed up in the second half, but it was too little, too late. Can’t do that this time.
Just wanted to give a congrats to the undersized Pack women’s team. They lost to ND, but gave the #4 team in the country a fight, finally losing 67-60, and that’s not bad, considering the size of their team.
Rick, you love to get into the name calling, huh? Really? I have my opinion, and if it doesn’t go along with yours, you resort to this. Immature???? No, what it is called is my opinion, which as a poster, I am certainly entitled to, and don’t find myself throwing names around, because people disagree with me. My opinion is still the same, regardless! We are supposed to be pulling for the same team. Gott is not going anywhere, anytime soon. Sorry! Get used to it.
