Hopefully after the next game. We will be ready for the ACC, and Louisville, running a non vanilla game. Anything less will not do.
My first trip to this high school type stadium. Great win for the team, especially with an ailing quarterback.
Great start to the season, not perfect, but still a good win, and no turnovers, as for a side note, finally started back selling concessions in the stand, so you can stay in your seat and keep watching the action.
Sad to hear another one of our quarterback greats, Eric Kramer, who lost his son to overdose years ago, is suffering from depression, and attempted suicide with a gun, thankfully unsuccessful. Keep him in your prayers. He is one of ours.
Too bad Lacey thought the NBA was ready for him. He would have been a positive for the team. Now he is over playing in Europe.
Congrats to Rowan for making NC State his choice, now if we can get the 7 footer, it would be awesome. Any news on him?
I enjoy the video board, and have no problem with it, especially since quite a bit of money was spent on it, for it’s use, and think the band gets its share of playing, as I am a former marching band player. Bathroom, and facility upgrades are vital, but I think some work on the scheduling, with big name schools, would help improve attendance, as well as winning, along with game promotions.
Oregon is known for football, and NC State has a much better reputation for basketball, plus the ACC, so if he is smart, he will be playing for the Pack.
If TCU disposes of A & M, then I know I will be sick. We had em. Still in disbelief. Glad I wasn’t a player, especially one who made an error, or pitched TCU to a victory. This game will forever haunt them.
Watched the disaster on television, and I can say, I have never ever, in all my years of living, seen such a collapse. Balks for scores, walks for scores, errors for scores, and very suspect pitching late in the game, when the wheels started coming off. Up 8-1, and lose in the last few innings. I for one think Avent needs to go. Bad game management. Season is done. Too bad for the seniors. Looked like something from AFV. Only TCU was doing the laughing.
Stony Brook would be nice, but regardless, we just gotta win. Certainly would be nice to pull it out Sunday, so a second game is not required. Keep making us proud, if by chance we get eliminated, certainly nothing to hang our heads about. TCU top ten team in the nation. Go Pack!
Seems there are 2 Browns, one on each team, and there player comes up as our pitcher, and even has Nolan Brown, not Brian. The wonders of the internet.
Guess 3 times is the charm, right player and right picture. Hope the team has more success than the gametracker.
Checking out gametracker, seems Brown is pitching for State, only problem is his pic on the site is of a TCU player, with another pic of the TCU batter. Who runs these things? Really!
SB up 7-1 after two, with the TCU 10-0 win not looking so dominating. We can take this. Pitching will probably be the key.
Great start for the team in Texas, now to finish that way. Hopefully TCU used up its scoring, in the Sacred Heart game. We can’t lose now, as season will be done, and back to Raleigh til next year. Hope there will be some television coverage this time. Go Pack!
Congrats to the women’s softball team, and wishing for more in Oregon. While hoping the men do their job here at home in the ACC tourney, minus the costly errors. Go Pack!
Looks like the sometimes hated Gottfried brought in a good catch, though many skeptics thought Cali would change his decision. Way to go Coach. Welcome Mr. Kirk to Wolfpack Nation!
WE are NC State, they are Kentucky. So why wouldn’t he listen, but that doesn’t mean he will recommit to UK. Let’s just wait and see. Gott knows what he is doing, and has proven it every year. Even when we were picked to have a lesser finish. I am not looking for a new coach. Gott is fine, and the team will be fine. It has been every year so far. Why should this one be any different. Not many teams put a defeat on our reigning champs from Durham.
