Just trounced ASU in the Sun Bowl, basketball going on, and wrestling team excelling, yet still we have the UNC blog, and a poll on who should be the next men’s basketball coach. One moderator. Such a drastic change from last year. Still at a loss, as I had come to expect weekly updates on State fans nation, and it just ain’t happening. Sure miss the way it used to be on here.
15 was the lucky number for Wake, Ingram burned all day by Woolford, and Finley doing what he does so well at the end of game, with the game on the line. Another stupid loss.
It may seem petty to squabble about officiating, but as previously stated, when it comes to a TD, I have to say the officiating was clearly in the orange favor. Too many PI calls not called on them, especially remember one at halftime, that forced us to try a field goal, that our kicker missed. But still am not happy with the coaches play calling at times, with the fourth and 1, that we decided not to try, and paid dearly. Also red zone play calling has got to come up with some new plays. And we must win out, and pray by some miracle FSU upsets Clemson. But win first, and pray Saturday gives us our miracle.
Many things factored in this loss. The offense was putrid, and play calling at time had me scratching my head, which left the defense on the field way too long. Thus the final score. Not to mention the weather. It was freezing cold there, and I should know, because I was there. Forget this game, and rise up for Clempson. We are better than what we showed the nation.
This this the furtherest I have been for a football game. Thank God for flying. Been here since Thursday with family. Making my first trip to South Bend. Hope I am not disappointed. I did remember that, we are 2-0 vs. the Irish, and I was in fact there to see both of those victories. Would love to see a third. Go Pack! And thanks COWDOG! You do your part.
Still baffled. We finally are having a break thru season, and State Fans Nation just not showing the love. What is up with that? During previous lack luster seasons, we were bombarded with storylines and blogs. Come on guys, get this site back to what it has previously been. Normally we would already have a story regarding the Notre Dame game. What ever happened to all the moderators, and now there is one? This site sat the standard, so that is what I have come to expect. Go Pack!
This team has me truly believing in them, so much so that I am taking my first trip to Notre Dame, and trusting that they will again come thru with a big victory on national television. Go Pack!
Looks like Cowdog better get his own recruiting class for SFN. No coverage of the Louisville game, and upset win. SFN has been a real disappointment this football season. I have come to expect lots more, as in previous seasons. Let’s get this train back on track. Go Pack!

Second half not as convincing, with work to do. But still a win, just hope the refs don’t steal one from us. That BS roughing the passer call ending in a TD for the orange. Horrible call!
I find myself pulling for Clemson. Wanting us to put that loss on them, as well as the 2nd for Louisville. Go Pack!
State fans nation is becoming a real disappointment. Huge win for Dave Doeren over FSU, and no live blog, or anything. Guess someone chalked this up as a loss, and not blog worthy. Come on guys. We have come to expect better.
Think we need to find a witch doctor to break the FG kicker curse. It is just unreal, after all the previous NFL kickers we had.
Chop: You would be correct on the game scores, but when I realized my error, I could not edit. But my point being I don’t think USC or Marshall were pushovers. Sure we need improvement but we can still have a great season.
Again, my closing statement was no guarantees, but not an impossibility. Is the glass half full, or half empty? We all have our opinions.
Always room for improvement. On the bright side after beating ourselves vs. USC. The gamecocks manhandled Mizzou. As for Marshall, they had a close win vs. Austin Peay, who manhandled a usually good Cincy team. So I will remain optimistic, get some of our starters back on defense, and let our 2 DBs, who only had 3 starts at the position, gain some more experience, then we can still have that promising season we hoped for. No guarantees, but not an impossibility.
Has this site shut down? Newless, since the end of basketball season. Just got my season football tickets, and could be a real special season ahead, but nothing here. Is there a new site, to join?
Meanwhile the Men’s basketball team is playing in Italy, but without Yurtseven, who play the summer for Turkey.
I have enjoyed all the updates from State Fans Nation, but obviously it has shut down. This laat story is several months old. Hard to believe there is no news in Wolfpack land, and we continue to post a story on the tarholes. Are they that important? We are giving them way too much attention.
Love to hear some news on baseball, and retire the banner story, which is giving the tarholes way too much attention. State baseball seems to be doing well for the end of the regular season, and a big closing series at home with Clemson. Go Pack!
