Man, I sure hope we don’t lay an egg tonight…and our bigs need to play better on the offensive end….I guess these guys don’t play zone…I suppose that’s a good thing.

First, I apologize for the post. Yep, I’m very frustrated. It looks like we’re setting up for a really good season and then…splat! As an alum and lifer I should deal with it and move on. In the end, I suppose making the tournament is making the tournament.
HOWEVER, as posted before, losses are losses. No excuses no matter what. There are no good losses. Losses are just losses. Quoting statistics is also for losers. Don’t get mad at me, I didn’t come up with that…but it’s probably true. Maybe we can be okay with the loss if they shoot 80% but that wasn’t the case. I could see that loss coming from the 10 minute mark of the 2nd. Until Wofford can out-recruit us, I refuse to accept losing to them. There’s a reason they hadn’t beaten us in 80 years. This shouldn’t have been the team that broke that streak.
At least my boys are learning what it’s like to be a state fan.
Whatever. That was a typical NCSU f up. You won’t see Duke losing to an NAIA D3 school. I suppose as an alum and lifetime fan I should be used to this.
Haven’t read the entire interview. Where there any questions in there about the possibility of him leaving? It’s hard to not feel like we’re a stepping stone school…especially for a non-alum. Does anyone have any hard facts?
Interesting. A bowl game sponsored by fictitious currency. I wonder if that’s how they’ll pay the teams. Beats Detroit in…well any month actually.
I’m sure we didn’t plan on doing any recruiting in Michigan.
We’re quite a different team w/out Anya on the floor. Seems to have some Richard Howell syndrome. I still don’t like the half court O. Looks like a lot of dribbling and standing around. Caleb should get more minutes/start.
Good question about Lee. I think he only played 3 mins the prior game. I disagree re: Barber. He is what he is. He’s definitely not pass first.
Does anyone know where we stand with 2015 recruiting? It’s awfully quiet.
Too much dribbling and not enough passing. The offense doesn’t look good. Too much standing around. We need more motion. At least we’re not getting blown out.
Can anyone tell me anything about where we stand with recruiting for 2015? I know we haven’t landed anyone but there are a few big shots in which we’re still in the running. Does anyone know anything more than that?
How do you differentiate Tier I vs. Tier II? The amount of money you get paid? There’s only 439 of them.
I concur in regard to ND. We should dump them and find two more teams that want to participate in ALL ACC sports.
Ever seen the movie “Conspiracy Theory”? Their sports programs didn’t create this problem, they exploited it. Will we ever let the Valvano story go? A lot changes in 25 years…including the NCAA and the bloated revenue stream of college athletics. It’s apples and oranges. A better answer would just be to beat them on a regular basis.
I disagree. We’re showing far more signs of being a mediocre team than a good team. Can’t see us beating Purdue on the road. I’m sure Alpha tires of hearing this. Making the tourney is our ceiling. Hope I’m wrong. Next year and beyond look promising though.
Alpha, to follow my thread from the prior post, I think my greatest frustration shouldn’t be with the players but the coach. Why didn’t he use a couple of timeouts to address some of this?
