Oh no im not completely dumping our DB’s. Stevens and McCloud were very impressive in the bowl game and I also have a feeling that Shawn Boone may have a great senior season as well. My only worry is will they be consistent? Hopefully our talented pass rush will help them out.
He one of the top scorers in the toughest basketball conference in the Nation and was a first team all selection. The only disadvantage to Cat Barber in the NBA is his height and inconsistent 3pt shot. However he is one of the fastest players to dribble a ball. I wish him the best of luck to him and his family.
It would be very interesting to see if he was as fast as Russell Westbrook.
I know this is a long shot but I hope we can keep him for 2 years. With him and this extremely talented freshman group coming in and not to mention the talent we have now. We could really be a national contender. If not one gets injured and the team chemistry is well!

I believe that our success will come from our running game and offensive line. We don’t have to have a superstar QB we just need someone to get us a few 1st downs on some 3rd and long situations. We have a great group of backs and a really good offensive line coach. If the Qb turns out to be a surprise like Russell Wilson then we might have a very special year with all these big time games.

I know this is random but I hope Freeman can get healthy and improve his game playing with all these talented big men during his red shirt year. It would be awesome to see him have a great senior year since he always played so hard for the pack the Pack and did things for the team that don’t show up on the box score.
Lets also not forget that Maurice Trowell made some good catches during his freshman year and hopefully Cherry will have a good senior year. We will see.
Any of our QB’s has got to be better than we when had Brandon Mitchell and Pete Thomas back in 2013…….. or at least I hope so.
You know if Bo Hines decided to stay at state we wouldn’t even be having this freak out or conversation right know.

I agree with you on having a duel threat QB especially with a sub par offensive line. Also a duel threat seems to really fit into Dave’s offensive especially after seeing highlights from his coaching days at NIU. Also with Ramos being red shirted we might have to put J. Samuels at the WR position lol.
Maybe we will strike gold this year with this team. We can only hope and pray.
