Can you by chance cite a source for your “merchandise sales” claim? Or a decline in their reporting academic ranking?

I actually think it’s because the game of basketball sucks because it does not even remotely resemble the game that is described in the rule book…I won’t waste my time watching the Hanborough’s of the world hop around and call it basketball.

Stick: I post at both with pretty much identical messaging and an almost identical users. My thoughts are my thoughts, but they’re shared with different people. I have people that I like to discuss things with on each site.
I stand by my statement. Just stop playing UNC. I’d bet that FSU, GT, Syracuse and Miami would join us given that all got way more from the NCAA and ACC for less. I’d bet that Clemson would too. The ACC would either completely implode or sanction UNC.
Come on NC State. Give me something to believe in. By standing idly by, you are effectively complicit.

So, how does one go forward from this point on as a college athletics fan? What’s the point? There is a really good chance I have watched my last ncaa event. I am proud to say that moment was long before the tarheel 2nd place championship finish
I am struggling with this as well. If there is no level playing field why bother?

If this is as everyone seems to believe, the Holes really did “bring down the NCAA”. I cannot, for the life of me, imagine spending another dime on college athletics, watching it, or wasting my time frustrated with it. And since the NCAA is our University and College chancellors and presidents, they can all “kiss my grits”!
I haven’t jumped off the Titanic yet and hope to get to laugh at those who have…

If you add one comma to the “crucial line”, does this change the meaning for you guys to mean “the original still applies”. This is totally illogical to me to believe that all of the other stuff went away.

You must have ordered seed??? I went by the local farm supply store today in Rock Hill where I bought my reaper plants last year and they didn’t have any yet. I may have to ride over to Ft. Mill and check with “the man who created them”!
I have some Carolina reapers germinating right now. I had one plant last year. Those things are BEYOND HOT!

O’Donnell had a very good summer at the Cape Cod League.
As long as they use the end of the TCU game as motivation for this year, who knows how well this season can go.

Last year I was picking some of the reapers with my gloves on and a mosquito bit me on the cheek. Before my brain kicked into gear my hand was already on it’s way to swat the nasty bug. As Ray Stevens would say “To late, I’d already been incensed”. THAT was nasty.
Oh, crap…that must mean that “ALL former catchers(myself included) who wore Number 8 must REALLY NOT BE SMART!! lol! I’ve even got a hockey jersey with a Number 8…

IIRC, it wasn’t just the pickup game with EB, but that State allowed DT to spend the night in a dorm at no charge. Still a minor violation, but it all worked out as we kicked butt the 4 years I was there (72-76).
True…think there was a blazer involved too, but the “nail in the coffin” probably was Eddie B. being involved. I had totally forgotten that he’d played for the Lakers though. I’m probably one of those who “had a long time from starting at
State until graduating” so I was in the same freshman class with Eddie B., but was there during DT and TB’s time also. Thank you, Uncle Sam…I guess that was a positive experience because I was still working in Raleigh during the championship year."Whomp 'em, Up, Side the Head"!
Wooo stick! I just touched the cheek on my face to learn my lesson with those bad boys. You bring up a totally different paradigm. I don’t even want to contemplate that!!! GEEEESH! On the other hand if you wanted to get back at the old lady for some reason. Did I really say that? I plead the 5th.
I learned my lesson with some Habaneros that a friend’s wife gave me at the Darlington race several years ago. We parked at their house outside of the back of the Darlington Raceway and would always chat and have a few beers before we’d walk into the track…One year she gave me a bag of Habaneros…I stuck my hand in the bag and didn’t think about it until I took my first leak inside the raceway…Bet I could have beaten Dale, Cale, and the rest of the field around that track after doing that!
