I’d say if you took those 3 semesters of English and turned in every assignment for 4 years, you flunked a bunch of them…And probably after they quit giving F’s for 2 misspelled words and a D for 1.
But you had to be persistent to do it for 4 years…

Somebody mentioned “Sumter Square”? Wow!!!!!!!!! I didn’t realize it was still there…my wife lived there(when it was brand new) in 1971 when we met. I remember doing a 720 in my VW coming back from her apartment to my apartment on Avent Ferry one night in the ice…I missed a telephone pole by 3/4 of an inch!
And Wade Avenue? We went sledding one day when we had about 12 inches back in the 70’s over there at an apartment complex…I had her VW and pushed a Cadillac up the hill with it…I still had snow tires back then having lived in Maryland before coming back to State.
Sierra’s can get really sticky…stayed out of the snow most of the time, but have done those mountains from Tahoe down to Springville(betwixt Fresno and Bakersfield) Get lost in there and you’re dead in the snow!

Dream on, Dudes…why would the SEC want that? Not going to happen except in possibly a few states..unless the SEC wants to play more “patsy” games…most want to schedule at least one game with an in-state team(non ACC) to promote instate interest and share a little revenue with their little brothers. With limited slots, I cannot see anything happening that would change the current status…maybe with the newbies(A&M, Missouri), but I just don’t see it…I can see rotations of State, UnC, ECU on the Gamecock schedule, but I find difficulty believing Florida, Jawja, Bama, Auburn, LSU are going to bite.

Ok, so Russell did not get a second degree at Wisconsin? That would have been difficult unless it was “very closely related” anyway…but that answers a question I’ve had…
Most of us were skeptical for obvious “height reasons”..I never doubted his arm, his heart, his legs, and most definitely not his “brains” except for the “curve ball” situation.
Of all of the reasons above, the “height” issue is the least important the way he plays the game…but if the D hadn’t have given him the opportunity last night, he may have struggled…
That was a total team effort!!!
I just hope he doesn’t waste his money on a sorry basketball program! Please give to the baseball team! Or academics!

Can’t find any disagreement…Tax laws in NC are brutal, property taxes are worse than brutal, both for business and individuals…I don’t have the answer(cause I haven’t thought out the differences totally), but I’ll take the SC property taxes over NC and you cannot possibly convince me of why I should pay more taxes for no more benefits…and if you try, confine it to income and property taxes not gas taxes…
All you have to do is compare York County, SC to Mecklenburg County, NC…better school system in York County, less property taxes, less state taxes, real estate on the whole is more reasonable…actually I-77 to the NC border is better and is vastly better than I-85 north of Charlotte.
Granted both political systems needs work…Too many “Bubbas”, the North C or the South C variety…whether they carry a Dem or Republican label..
BTW, I pay more NC taxes than SC taxes…
