Tired of this crap about poor coaching. The team didn’t execute at times. Lewis is just not an option as a back up point guard. The refs called a shit game. 25 attempts and 18 for the pack at the line. The inconsistent calls was really the problem versus the free throw attempts.
In the little I have seen of Mizzou they like to play zone a defense. That has given this team problems on offense. A tight called game can hurt us but they are thin as well and if they (refs) call it tight it will even out. I think we will have more talent standing at the end. The fouls cannot come early though. Buckets and barber cannot foul out. Our perimeter defense is the weak link but we have shot changers on the back line to make a difference.

Wow that may the best half I have seen them play this year. Specially against supposedly better competition.
Yeah we should expect that. But we are also dealing with 18 and 19 year old kids that have been promised the moon and coddled. Why give them another reason to NOT give maximum effort? Don’t you think it changes their approach if they are told from day one that this person is the starter and yet they have done nothing to prove it? Just my opinion.

Wilson played three years before transferring. Brissett has mostly rode the bench. Not a good comparison. I would think the FL coaches know a little something before annonting him the next franchise QB here in Raleigh. Don’t get me wrong I hope he is a baller.
Rtpack.. So the QB’s in the spring don’t give full effort? The freshman QB comes in thinking “why should I bust my ass” if I know I have no shot of starting. First game Brissett gets hurt. Saw that this year. Now sh*t hits the fan. None of back ups are prepared. If naming Brissett is an asset to recruiting WR’s then it could be a hinderance. Why didn’t he get the job done in Fl with all that talent?
True that may be the case but competition is never a bad thing even if in your mind the decision has been made. Bedsides this kid from Charlotte that has verbally committed may be the real deal.
I just see more downside than upside by making this annoucement now.
What good does it do to announce this now? It seems to me as far as competition goes keep it undisclosed. I just do not see the upside of announcing this in Dec. 2013
Actually if you go 32-0 and lose in the final game it all means nothing. So until we get that mentality back at NCSU we have to dream and hope. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with that. I just relish the day when we don’t have to discuss whether we are on the bubble or in. I mean we went through that with Sendek!
