Greywolf, I don’t have to justify my knowledge or resume to you or anyone else. I am stating an opinion from many years of experience at different levels. Like I said you post in the tone of a petulant child and I have no time for that crap. Instead of good discussions with insightful comments we get the likes of you.

Football is not rocket science so don’t pretend that coaches are devlooping a new way to go into space. Secondly I watched all afternoon coaches call the fade to corner or a jump ball to the corner. It rarly works. They called that play a couple times just like they did in the Giants game. Unless you have Megatron then the odds at best are 50/50.
BOTB, I watched that game and thought the same thing. Not only did they go for it in forth down the plays they chose were horrible. Take the FG’s and live to fight another day.
Watched the game last night and I was impressed on many levels. The defense looked good. The inside game was not there. Jump shots and driving to the basket was on display. The one feed I saw from Martin to BJ was the only interior pass I remember. I am sure there were more than that but we need to feed the big men. They are going to work that in at some point. Let’s hope the interior game can provide some offense. The defense from Jackson State was weak so they took advantage of what they could.
Lacy is the real deal. He can run the point so I don’t think we need to worry about Lee running the show. Abu seemed to be a no show but that was because they didnt work the inside the game.

I have the watch ESPN app and I don’t see the game listed at all? Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Sam Cassell’s (AKA Admiral Akbar for you Star War fans) kid will take his job. He played well in their first exhibition game. 18 pts and 1 TOA tale of two halves. The defense looked average in one half and intense the other. Shot 68% from the freethrow line. Went to the stripe 25 times. Abu hit all six of his free throws. Sounds like some teams may have trouble stopping him without fouling. Obviously you can’t take much away from this game but you have to start somewhere.
Like I have said many times before. I do not care how much the man (or woman) makes in the corner office. What I do care about is year that person gets a 10 to 15% percent raise while the average person across the company gets a 2 to 3 percent raise. 3% being the max. Very rarely meeting inflation rates. If you want to call that wealth re-distribution then I don’t get give a rats ass!

Last year TJW had 113 offensive rebounds. The next closest to him was Freeman at 72. Vandenberg had 56. To average more points as a team than we did last year we are going to have to make up those numbers. Only a few can create their own shot on this team on consistent basis. Don’t know how well of a shooting team we will have. Crashing the boards will be a point of emphasis through out the season. You can call me Captain Obvious!

When Payton was sacked on a play in the third quarter he was hit right at the knees! What happened to the Brady rule where you can’t hit a QB towards the knee area? It was such a blatant call. The defender went right for Manning’s knees!
I didn’t like the rule when they put it in play but it is a rule now. CALL IT!
This is a huge game for my Steelers. I had a feeling the Patriots woud win thier game. They always play the underdog role well. They always beat my Steelers when they were underdogs on paper.
