ParticipantFor you Bill, were you calling me the POS? I sure hope not. I was really just trying to figure out who said it. PA44 always seems to light the match and walk away.
Gowolves
ParticipantCD, present and accounted for at the alter, 🙂
I didn’t mean to start this circle jerk. I was just curious about who said it. I thought for sure it was PA44. Anyway doesn’t matter.
This team progressed and showed its chops as the season went on. The program is going in the right direction. Please return to our regular scheduled program.

ParticipantAll seriousness wasn’t it you that said he was in over his head? Not trying to call you out just bad memory.

ParticipantTyrone Riley, DE from GA, flipped from KY and has verbaled to the Pack!
Gowolves
ParticipantRick the Pack is 52 in the nation in field goal percentage.
Places them I think 5th or 6th in the ACC. Name of the game is preventing them from scoring. Other defensive stats are important but not close to that one.
That is the lowest it’s ever been under GOTT here since his second season.

ParticipantThis team is whole lot of disappointment. They play with reckless abandonment when they are getting their ass kicked. When the game is in their favor they play like weak p”ussies. Sick of this crap. This is a game they should have had a better performance. I’m embarrassed. This is on the coaching and I am sick of the lack of preparation.

ParticipantYou must have missed the scoop by Martin against Miami

ParticipantI watched this and came away with the impression he wants to be here for the long haul. I understand circumstances change but if he can have success here then we will have something to build on. I also get he is coached to say what we want to hear. Not going to be Mr. Negative but we wiil have to wait and see how this plays out. He is on the right track and that’s all I can can hope for at the moment.

ParticipantRick it must make you so happy to bash the defense in the first three posts of the game blog. I swear that record gets old.
Gowolves
ParticipantWP76, I am in total agreement with your assessment of how awful the game has gotten. It is not longer about playing defense with your feet but clutching and grabbing. Pair this with the poor free throw shooting and you have a recipe for these 50 to 40 games.

ParticipantBeat me too the punch, SF!

ParticipantThey had a stat this mornong on Game day. WVU turns over the opposing team once every three times down the court. Think about that? That is astonishing.

I guess Mr. Anthony will be taking the weekend off while the suits decide his fate.

ParticipantYou guys get up early to start these threads. 🙂

ParticipantTimbo, you must be trolling. I don’t buy the sh8t you are selling. Not supposed to win? That is load right there.
As of the many that have sold Cat down the river, please remember these posts. He is struggling right now. He will get on track. His defense is constantly better than most. Just give the KID some time. He will be just fine.
We don’t need Lewis. His defense liabilty was much greater than what he could give on the offensive side. Please guys don’t act like the jilted lover when she wants nothing to do with you. It’s sad and unbecoming. Have some pride!

ParticipantBill, I saw this as well and was going to start a thread. This is exactly from the files of the UN* scandel. Create a totally bogus academic support system and then claim I know nothing. Sgt. Schultz at your service!
Gowolves
ParticipantExcellent post. On side note our guards are notorious of picking up their dribble too often. This is hard to overcome when this happens because players have to get out of position to provide help for their teammate. Of course it often leads to a bucket because of the confusion. This is not an offense but rather dumb luck and success by accident.

ParticipantPPP, You my friend are a rebel! 🙂

ParticipantFB68, I think we showed last night we can rebound with the better teams when we want to. I think we had a 8 or 9 rebound advantage. We missed so many second and third shots. It’s the finishing around the basket when you get those rebounds. That will improve as the season progresses.
Gowolves
ParticipantBill, I agree. While I hate losing to the light blue baby’s the fact is I am very happy with the way this team plays and the direction of the team. They played hard last night. Their perimeter defenders are long and I knew it would give the Pack fits all night. They need to do better job against UNC on their interior offense to draw double teams. It worked at times but not consistently. The two road games coming up are important. If could win the next two which I think we should then we are in good shape with two home games against ND and Clemson. I think at 5-2 going into the ND game is a good position to be in at this point in the season.

ParticipantBuckeyes will win. 🙁

ParticipantESPN made for tv. I’m sorry it’s disgusting to me.

ParticipantLet preface this by saying I can’t stand the buckeyes but I think the urban legend will have something up his sleeve for this game.

ParticipantROTFLMAO!!!!
