Again I did say that SOME are misreble GOTT haters. I don’t deny that but to make a sexist comment that is bullsh*t. If you don’t get that then I can’t help it
Rick, I stand by those comments. They are a reflection of SOME of the pessimists on this site. I did not make child like comments to offend other posters. I said their disdain or maybe lack of appreciation for Gott’s success/improvement is hard for me to comprehend based on what has transpired in the last four years.
Well thank you for responding. I appreciate that. I had seen where a few others had called you that so I thought it was appropiate. I guess they have eraned that right to call you that. Your comment didn’t hit home for me as much it was meant to belittle the comments that didn’t agree with the title and the connotations it presented. Never the less whether I called you Joe or Bob, to compare people’s opinion to bleeding vaginas is silly at best and condescending at worst.
I apologize for addressing you in that manner and that is the only thing I am sorry for as for the rest you know how I feel. I am good and I consider this put to bed.
VAW82, I got no problem with any opinions and I respect all. I am going to say this just once. My problem is that my comment about someone else’s comment is by no means an attack on them. I said that the comment was somphmoric and laughable. That’s it. So my comments get washed out due to people having thin skin. The person was a Mod and I called them out for the inconsistancies. I have seen MUCH worse on here and those slide. All I want is some acknlodgement that hey maybe I shouldn’t have deleted that.
I don’t agree with the headline and that’s all I had issue with and no one individaul. So this is where CD mentioned that their could be some inconsistancies. More than anything I just want a reason or why? Your comment about ataccking the person never happened. When no one can give a reason why that happened then I assume someone is hiding behind their all “powerful” title. I don’t think I am asking too much.
As it relates to the topic at hand people have a right to their opinion. I just don’t want to see this fanbase become a joke because of expectations being unrealistic. Yeah I want a winning program. I also agree that the method of building a college program is very different than we were young. So for people to complain about transfers and kids leaving early for the draft stinks of being misinformed. Someone linked the list of available transfers the other day and it was close to 50 to 75 kids. That is a lot of unhappy kids. That is a market that a coach can’t deny that exsists. Like others have said NCSU will have difficut time to develop the program just through the recruiting process out of HS. It’s going to take some patchwork in a lot of years. The hope is that you catch that lighting in the bottle and on a couple of transfers and the kids the Pack has recruited to push them to another level and then the hope is the recruiting takes over from there. This year if Lacy would have stayed could have been that opportunity but kids will be kids. The solace we can take from Gott’s teams is that they have always improved as the year progressed. That has to count for something.
Statefans, why don’t look and see that most people are not happy with your headline. Don’t cherry pick. Explain to me why this is only a Gott problem? This has happened to all our coaches. All you do is inflame the Gott haters. Maybe that was your intention?
ED89, CD, I was about to post the same thing two hours ago but got sidetracked. Insert Wolfpack instead of MG. The headline pisses me off. Just so sick and tired of some of the fans on here. They know who they are and just miserable people in general. Gott is doing all he can to find the right kids for the program. Dang right I want a championship team and I dare anyone to tell they want it more than I do! This negative attitude is for the fing birds. I hope we can sign this kid and it may parlay into the 2016 class but it will not be the end of the world if we don’t.
This is why SOME of you just don’t get it. Why do you let those punk aholes ride you like that. Like the previous posters have said it says more about your thin skin than anything. Gott is our coach and that photo is funny but it doesn’t detract what he has done for our program. If anything it means they are worried about us and that’s a good thing. Years have gone by where we sucked so bad in either football or basketball that the Tarholes wouldn’t waste their time doing this.
My dentist is UNC grad. He is a country boy and looks to be 80 and 50 pounds over weight. So he says to me the other week that he hears from a fellow friend who is a State alum that Gott is cheating again with the coeds at school. I told him that he has his story mixed up and if that DID happen that occurred at AL. This again is them WORRIED about the potential success that Gott is trying to bring to the program.
He goes on to say that Sheridan did the same thing when he was here and his friend told him the stroy. I called him out on the spot and said bullcrap. I told him my brother is good friends Dick’s son and they play golf all the time, sometimes with the old man. My brother said that he had legitimate health problems and he had to retire. Sheridan now days is no longer able to drive due to different issues. He is epileptic. He had so many siezures that they took his license away. See I look at this as we are now THEIR rival. They can’t stand it! I love it personally. Gott is NOT afraid of the blue ass*oles and won’t cowtow to their elitism attitude.

Wufpacker, my condolences my fellow pack fan. I lost my father just recently as well. You never get over it but you manage to get through it on the occasions that it hits you. It does get a little easier. May your father RIP.

They need to attack the zone like Rafferty said. They went zone because of the foul trouble. They are not letting Decker get good looks. The other players for Wiscy are going to have to step up. Frank will get his touches.
CD, just giving you a little crap. I understand where you are coming from and arrogance was maybe the wrong word. There are still some good people on this website that can provide some insight. Every coach has put restrictions on transfers. In this case he overreacted some but no more so than Frank Martin at SC.
Still though Ryan at any time could have backed off his unreasonable restrictions. I understand why they want those restrictions and in some cases it makes since. Ryan went overboard and wasn’t bending at all which he has a right to in this case. But just because you can doesn’t always mean you should. After the media caught wind of it he backed off.
