GowolvesParticipant
I grew up in the same neighborhood with this guy. He was a good guy even though back then he was a big tarhole fan. I saw him about five years ago at mutual friends funeral. He had just left for the jib at VCU. I would never had guessed he would something like this! Truly he is very disturbed or a very bad drinking problem. It is strange to see people turn out in way you never thought would happen.

He is between a Wood and a Reddick. He is great at spot shooting and trailing the play and finding the open spot on the perimeter. He shows good coming off screens and hitting the mid range jumper. Also good at driving to the basket. Good at following his shot and getting offensive rebounds but I suppose those will be far and few between once he is in college. To put it in perspective I would say better than Wood was at this point. I wouldn’t even say he is that close to Reddick but he has the tools to become so because he comes off screens so much better than Wood ever could. If he can’t get off his shot coming around a screen he is able to take a few dribbles to the side or torwards the basket(step back or contnue to the rim) to create seperation from the defender. Videos don’t show much as a defender. Only when they get a block or a steal. So from that perspective we shall see. I have seen him listed at different heights. 6’6″ to 6’8″ and all around 200. He is not a one and done but he does want significant playing time his freshman year from the quotes I have seen.
GowolvesParticipantMaybe bigeer and stronger were the wrong words. What I meant start to develop some strong consistent post moves within the frame of the offense. This will be challenge along with being in game shape.
GowolvesParticipantThis is really unfortunate. A lot of growth occurs between the sophomore and junior seasons. Now that they know the offense inside and out they don’t have to think and can just play. Get stronger and bigger. Yeah a lot of that happens between the freshman and sophomore but in my opinion the next summer is when it really clicks especially on the offensive end. This will be a setback. I wish they had enough depth to redshirt him.
GowolvesParticipantWPJ76, I was thinking the same thing when I heard about Ol’ Roy getting an extension. This is a BIG FU to the whole mess and to the NCAA. That’s just fine with me. Let him stay. When that program begins to deteriorate I want him there. It could be happening already on the recruiting trail if you listen to Roy whine like a b@tch about all the negative recruiting.
GowolvesParticipantI thought that would be your response.
GowolvesParticipantA little more insight on the skipper comment would be helpful. Just want to make sure I understand your comments and not act in haste.
GowolvesParticipantI watched this whole crap storm unfold. We missed cut off men. Two errors on the second baseman. One on the shortstop. Two balks. One was a bull”hit call but they should have never been in that place to begin with. What is hard to accept is that a lot of those boneheaded plays occurred with two outs! Like I said last night that was the choke I have EVER seen. It was truly sad and disgusting to watch.
GowolvesParticipantFor those of you that think the better team won you were not watching the same game I was. That was a gift to them. The Pack choked that one away. That has to go down as one of the biggest choke jobs I have ever seen. Yeah there were a few bad calls but they had two outs and were still by four runs. The Pack gave them that game and should be ashamed at the lack of grit there at the end. Call it like I see it!
GowolvesParticipantThat’s f&cked up. He stepped of the rubber. Complete horse crap
GowolvesParticipantIf that isn’t enough, then I just don’t know what to say.
Well I don’t know what to say for that comment. They will need every bit of those insurance runs to pull this Sh”t out
GowolvesParticipantThis is crap. Why didn’t they hit the cut off there on the play before to keep them at first and second. Compete f@cking meltdown!!!
GowolvesParticipantI’m sweating f@cking bullets here
GowolvesParticipantOk, Sh”t all of you that came out go back in your hole!
GowolvesParticipantLove it!!!!!
GowolvesParticipantCome on Pack lets pile some more runs!
GowolvesParticipantNice!!! Got that two runs the Pack needed!!
GowolvesParticipantThat’s an error? Hmmmm
GowolvesParticipantGO PACK!! Get a few insurance runs.
GowolvesParticipantWell this thread is exciting. I love the fact that everyone is watching on the edge of their seat. I get it. Nobody say a thing. ????
GowolvesParticipantI swear it’s a suck fest for TCU!
GowolvesParticipantLove some base runner errors. Went against the grain there.
GowolvesParticipantGilbert needs to eat some grapes.
GowolvesParticipantIMHO, I think the pack will need at least two more runs.
GowolvesParticipantCould have been a lot worse.
