GowolvesParticipant
Finley was completely brain dead. Dumb, stupid, moron, etc. He screwed that chance bad. He suck3d the big schlong on that series. So da&n mad at him. He has regressed the last half of the season. F&ck him.
GowolvesParticipantDid anyone here think that last TD by BC was complete BS? The ball never broke the plain and definitely missed the pylon.
GowolvesParticipantThey deserve to lose this game. I hope DD and the OC gets roasted for the stupid play calling.
GowolvesParticipantOmg that was not a touchdown
GowolvesParticipantI swear they don’t know what the hell they are doing sometimes. Why do they continue to do that silly offense crap.
GowolvesParticipantDamn that kid just can’t buy a break
GowolvesParticipantI’m glad they held off on Doreen’s extension. This season will end with a big fat suck! This defense is way overrated and the play calling is sh&t.
The last two loses are on the linebackers and the offense not moving the chains.
Done with this team.
GowolvesParticipantHate to disagree but that was a good call.
GowolvesParticipanti’m puckered up tight over here yall
I hear you man. I’m nervous as hell for these guys.
GowolvesParticipantI’m predicting a Pack win. 21-17.
GowolvesParticipantI would say the offense line comparison is even. Where ND has a slight advantage in rushing the Pack has kept Finley pretty clean all season.
GowolvesParticipantI’m looking for someone to road trip this game out Raleigh. Found tickets on Stub hub. 79-92 bucks. Leaving Raleigh around noon on Friday. GF obviously doesn’t want to go. Share the gas and hotel. Still considering going by myself which is fine by me but thought about sharing some overhead.
GowolvesParticipantSame recipe as before:
limit big plays
limit turnovers
win kicking gameUSC had three turnovers.
ND will be favored by 6.5
McCallum
I saw 7.5 last night but I expect that to narrow.
GowolvesParticipantBefore the season, most experts had us picked to go 4-4 in the ACC and make a bowl (rightly so imo). Great news is that we’ve met those goals!
So now we’re just over halfway through the season and I think we all have a pretty good idea of what this is capable of as well as where realistic expectations should be. We’re in the national conversation as we should be at this point, but I don’t hear our fans talking championships or bowls after New Year’s Day.
We all realize next week in South Bend is a very big game and Clemson the following week likely determines whether we make another trip to Charlotte before bowl season begins.
But c’mon, if we can’t be optimistic (guarded, cautious, or otherwise) now, when can we be? Enjoy the ride gents!
+1. Well said. Let’s try to enjoy this ride
On another note let’s keep this good vibe going as it relates how we debate. Whether it ends great, somewhere in the middle or badly. Maybe we attract some Wolves back to the den. This is a great time to be Wolfpack football fan. I’m going hype them, love them. I just discussed with my brother that this team is every bit as good as Georgia. No I’m not drunk.
GowolvesParticipantLook at the top receiver groups coming into the season. The Pack faces four of them. Clemson, ND, South Caolina, and Louisville.
GowolvesParticipantAlso look at the list of top receivers State has faced or will face this year.
Deebo from SC
Ishmael from Syracuse
Tate from FSU
Kid from Marshall
Cain from Clemson
Brown Notre DameAll were either in the top thirty receivers coming into the season or have made their way there not just by playing our secondary. They all had preseason expectations from their fans like we did with our studs(Samuels, Hines, etc). I think all those listed will have a good shot playing on Sunday.
GowolvesParticipantI would like ND to win this week against USC. Give them plenty pats on the back. Tell them how good they are coming to the Pack game. Have them beat up a bit.
This Pack team is good and like others have said it starts in the trenches. The offense is so efficient. Finley just has so many weapons to chose from. The defense can’t just key on one guy. Try to stop Jaysam you leave Hines or Reggie open. Put a safety to keep Harmon in check you have Louis getting one on one treatment. Don’t sleep on the rookie either.
The defense is great against the run. The passing defense is making small improvements. Still giving up too many big passes. Having Stevens back is no coincidence that it has slightly gotten better. The key is what will happen in a game where they can’t get pressure on the opposing QB? Do they force the issue and dial up more blitz packages and can the DB’s cover long enough. That’s going to be key.
Finally will DD and Drink start changing the game plan to take into account the lack of kicking game. It changes the play calling when you know you will be going for it on fourth down. I personally hope they start going for it more on fourth down. That’s obvious depending on distance and spot on the field.
Exciting times to be a Pack fan. Go Pack!
