I tell you this game will be telling 20 games in. At that point I will let you know how I feel about this game.

Effort is there on defense just don’t have the fundamentals yet

This is sloppy. Spread the court and open it up against the zone. Too many offenseive rebounds for GA Southern.
I think we are seeing them trying to work the offense more than the preseason games. They seem more determined to get the half court offense working. Making the right passses.
I sit here thinking how good this team has a chance to be. Let’s hope they play with passion almost every night. If they can then sky’s the limit. Let’s not forget other teams have talent as well. I get caught up on what we have and watch other teams like Texas on right now. They are 23rd in the nation. Right around where the pack should begin their journey. Texas is a big team. The Pack doesn’t have size like Texas. It’s all about matchups.
Not trying over hype this team. I also understand these games are hard to judge what we have. That said this team is by far the most talented team and deep I have seen in twenty years. They do have some limitations. This team has a real chance at a final four. If they can gel and put egos aside then they can be real dangerous every night.
Somebody needs to check and see if some of these kids are betting against their own team.
