GC ’80 (and Mrs GC too). My Sr year was the last time we won the ACC FB title and ironically we didn’t go to a bowl at 7-4 and winning the ACC that season. Today we would have gone to the Orange Bowl!

No, but saying its possible to make the ACCT Finals like we did in 2007, 2003, 2002, 1997. Don’t remember what our seeds were (although not good) those years and what seeds we defeated but we certainly weren’t ‘expected’ to make the finals.
But that’s why they tip the ball and play the games.
We came out on the short end of a hungry team and that’s what its all about.83 and Bass et al just think we need to lick our wounds, accept our fate, “thank you sir may I have another?!” (Animal House reference for those from Faison!), and move on. KK is a bust, the future is partly cloudy at best, wish we could have been accepted at xh, who is our daddy YES YOU are our daddy xh, should have hired Sean/Archie pick your flavor, etc etc etc soforth soforth soforth.

Yea, I kinda turned the game off. I can’t bear to watch. I still support the team, but this just hurts. Every time you get your hopes up…. I hope we win. But I have to protect my heart at this moment.

Well if we don’t do better in the 2nd half I’d be shocked. We have has games like this during the season but came out and went on a spurt sometime in the 2nd half.

Lot of ball to play and yes I am watching on my ESPNWATCH app on my phone.I always laughed at his ‘fashion report’ “the tarholes in their xarolina blue jerseys and britches with white lettering, featuring a white stripe down the side enblazened with navy/xarolina blue and black argyle, against the Blue Devils in their drab navy blue uniforms with block white letters” a tradition Jones Angle continues to this day.
Wally Osley (a unx grad BTW) and Gary Hawn do about as professional and evenhanded job as anyone, especially Wally. Its great when we win but when we lose its just a game and we’ll get ’em next time! And back then we usually did get ’em next time.Well I just never liked the guy period. In fact he epitomizes everything I detest about hole arrogance and superiority. Wasn’t sitting around wish for him to die but won’t go to his wake either. His last half dozen years he became very outrageous in his commentary so I listened for comic relief if I was in the car.
But as far as a play-by-play guy? His calling a game involved telling you all the calls against unx that were missed and all the calls that unx received that were incorrect. I don’t think that’s very good.BOTB, remember these guys are the product of 3 decades of Wolfpack mediocrity. They don’t remember the days when we were confident and relevant.
Maybe it was my imagination but when they showed Danny Manning on the bench he looked like he was wearing a xarolina suit and tie!
