No coach, no athletic director, no associate athletic director.”
There were no specific charges tied to any men’s basketball coaches or any coaches of any sport for that matter. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the men’s or women’s basketball program is off the hook and won’t receive significant penalties.
But it certainly could have looked worse.

Sorry you will have to forgive me or you won’t but I don’t believe in fairy tales, that the force in star wars is a real thing, or that imo silly practices such as avoiding certain things or doing certain specific things have any bearing on the outcome of a contest. The hubris in that beggars description.
I am surprised at the reaction to the article. I thought the tone was hopeful, the content accurate and thought provoking. The timing seems natural. I don’t see the problem. Whoever the author is I appreciate the effort and content.
For me to believe that unc will face serious consequences for their actions, I am from Missouri on this one, you will have to show me.
In the last 24 hours, as far as I can tell, Coach G did not lose someone he did not have and did not lose someone he did have. Stellar or non stellar? 🙂
I am not sure that the title of this thread is called for. Why is the coach being portrayed in a positive way?
They say women who hang out together have their cycles sync up. That is the only explanation I can come up with for the whining about an innocuous title.

Are the only choices between, the last 24 hours were stellar or were not stellar for Coach Gottfried? I think there may be other choices without being nit picking. Are nit’s even in season, I will defer to CD on that one.
Is it possible StateFans you got your hopes up for Ingram (you state Ingram was lost, when was he had?) and were then disappointed and then maybe you had your hopes uplifted by the Kirk report but you now are thinking he is lost too? Coach gets credit and blame, maybe even for dashed hopes.
While Kirk may or may not be able to start soon, he looks like he could be good at providing a spark off the bench.

Fact: 🙂I don’t see the problem in discussing what happened. I was not able to follow N.C. State closely at that time and was confused by what was going on with that whole situation. It is good to learn the truth. I thought at first RW was being kinda a punk about the whole situation. Now that people have shared the truth I see that is not the case. So thanks to those who shared and were willing to talk about it.

So I am wondering if you had a big guy who could hit a jumper and pass the ball effectively if that might help the Offense.

I thought I remembered that before last season the thought was it would be considered a good coaching job if we made it too the NCAA tournament. So not only do we make the tournament but also make some noise. Do I wish we went further of course. Next year has not happened, people are still announcing decisions for recruitment. I think I will wait and see what happens.
