I don’t see how just beating unc would change anything. It will take more than just that win to change his eventual firing or leaving or whatever they have come up with.

So you’d better be sure and listen close the first time.I was trying to come up with a word to describe what I am seeing from this team. Lost. These are the lost boys. They look totally lost out on the floor. You can see talent but I am worried that good chunks will soon be lost. Not only was the game lost well before halftime I can’t see this season as not lost as well.

I guess it would depend on what kind of character he has and what message he wants to send to future teammates.
His recent heart issues was supposed to be resolved so that he could focus on his job and his GF seems to be pretty steady, so he does not have to go on sordies for relief….

I didn’t know anyone watched Big Bang Theory. The beta male nature of the characters and the not so subtle homosexual vibes make that show reek of the the last spin of the gene pool going down the toilet.

I have reverted to a “Sidney Lowe” type of apathy. I actually watched Big Bang Theory reruns instead of the game. It has become so bad, that if I come across a State game on the weekend while surfing; I will watch for a moment and then move on… no matter the score. I have better things to do with my time, even though I really like the kids on this team. (Bona fides: I am a State grad, I bleed red, I hate UNC and I bought an F150 because it was State Red and my block S license plate would look great on it.)

Guilty as Gott. When evaluating a player. DSJ is usually a special player on offensive side of the ball. Not so much on the defensive side.

Personally have no problem with it for legit medical purposes.
Because of who the loss was too and my expectations for the team I am thinking that “something is rotten in the den of the wolfpack”, part of the time. Part of the time I am thinking it is only one game and historically Gotts teams do not come together until later in the year and this year some pieces were later getting started. My conclusion, wait until the end of the season before I come to any firm conclusions, maybe.

I was at this game. Cool win. They have good guard play. Stingy D they move there feet well don’t reach. I don’t think they have reached their max potential yet. They still need to work the half court offense more consistently and get post buckets. They can run the fast break, dribble penetrate, and hit the three. At times too much dribbling going no where only to be bailed out by superior athleticism.
