Seeings how (as you all remember too well) that Herb left us (we didn’t fire him), maybe, must maybe, if (when) ASU fires his {expletive deleted}, he would be willing to come back and take over our program again.
Personally, I think that Lacey is going to be the difference maker tonight. Duke will be forced to focus on Cat because of his performance of late, and I don’t think that Turner is going to pull himself out of his current funk for more than 8-10 pts(I think he may be hurt more than we know).
So, I expect that Lacey, with his ability to create will be the key. Which I think is good, I’ve really liked Trevor since the first time I saw his play this season, he seems to be always positive and is willing to do the dirty work.
The other key, as it was when we played them earlier in the year will be to limit (not stop) JO, hold him to 20 with a lower percentage (<50%) and keep all four of our bigs from fouling out, and I think we will be ok.
If the current Lunardi (espn.com) bracket where the final bracket, it would be a Dream/Nightmare scenario for the Pack.

The earlier statement that USA Today had STATE at 5 was incorrect. USA Today has UNC at a #5 seed, and STATE at a #9 seed (in the same quarter of the bracket, heading for a 3rd road matchup)

While I agree with your point, there was this guy named Russell Wilson who was pretty good with both his feet and his arm. Just saying.
My sciatica is acting up. I told my wife this morning that I thought was a going to have to spend the evening in the recliner to rest it up.
In typical sign fashion, I expect this will be a referendum game, that if we lose will doom Gott to the dungeons of helm, while a victory will show him to be the greatest coach in history (outside Jimmy V, of course)

WV laid out the blue print for not just beating us, but running roughshod over us.
All smart coaches will attack us physically with a full court press. You can guarantee similar results against UVA and Duke at a minimum unless we figure out how to handle this.
Watched WV do the same to VTech earlier, so the problem isn’t unique to us, but if the refs are going to let the game be this physical, our bigs need to take some tough lessons from Dez.

pup…that’s the problem, our guys stop playing once the shot goes up. They are killing us on the offensive boards.
We need to crash the boards (without fouling, I know, easier said than done). They are certainly out efforting us on the boards.
